They decided to give the option of splitting your key and giving parts or it to third parties. Its opt in and the ledger S doesn't have the ability of doing it. CoinKite is still the better option IMO.

The reason I mention it is because maybe it's someone using the Ledger list? I didn't get the email, but I didn't have a ledger account till after the leak and I've had a blockstream account for a while now.
If it was full blockstream hack/leak, I should have seen an email.

As you use it I think it will make more sense and the possibilities require money to be apart of the mix. Decentralized money is needed for a decentralized internet. Very few altcoin projects are truly decentralized money and most of them don't have much going on.
It kinda also ties into the Value 4 Value (https://value4value.info/) system (Nostr/Podcasting 2.0/Etc.). If you find value from something, you can send some value to get more of what you like.
