We are getting closer to Sunday again. Seems to be the time to move.

Any feedback?
Nice design, Just a thought, the size could be a little larger to cover up the lid text and lines.
There bitcoiners and then there are people who own bitcoin. Freedom money and speech go hand in hand.
⚡️🤔 WATCH - Cardano Founder says if you hold:
"Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, Ripple, Avalanche, Binance, Brave"

Oh boy, oh boy. Why do I want this exactly? 🙃 Will I have to kyc myself for it to "just work"? I think I'll pass.

Very tempted my Raspberry Pi is struggling 😉
I just bought a Beelink mini just over 1 year ago and it is having heat issues. I want something reliable, but it looks like I have to get the Dell Optiplex 7060 Micro to get the m.2 slot.
3050 seems to have only PCIe m.2? https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-ca/000129720/optiplex-3050-support-for-pcie-m-2-ssd-hard-drives

There are some models that may not, so always double check. Some of the larger units can host multiple drives.
Did you mean could or should exchange?
- US dollar is devaluing faster.
- Bitcoin has been volitile to the up side and often steady. If the price starts to fall they could just start swaping to USD daily, if they wanted. Stupid to do that DURING a bull market though.
- Giving an fiat exchange rate for the purchase seems like a good way to go at first, so people have context.
- If they don't have a daily time horizon and they hold BTC, they'll be in good shape.
- If they need to pay the fiat bills, then they need to pay the fiat bills. Doesn't degrade the fact that a business is taking bitcoin.
It says tryspeed on the receipt, so likely them? https://www.tryspeed.com/
If anyone is looking at getting a Bitcoin node setup, I would suggest looking at refurbished Dell Optiplex Micro computers. They sell for really cheap now that windows 10 is done and most don't support windows 11. 🤮
You can get them with 8GB RAM and a 250GB SSD for around $200 (CAD) (7050). Throw in a 2 TB NVMe (M.2) drive in it and you're ready to install node software that wants two drives like nostr:nprofile1qqsp4za5duapejf2g0exeu354jzuh8fe9fevldxhsqztk9hhtteurxgpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3jamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3w0fjkyetyv4jjucmvda6kgqglwaehxw309ahx7um5wgh8wctvd3jhgmmxwdshgmmndp5jucm0d52al5wf or nostr:nprofile1qqsw5t3us9xs3gmclzjm37hvk2yy6pv9t96utjjttsj794hexc5x79qpzdmhxue69uhhwmm59e6hg7r09ehkuef092q0zz.
You can install nostr:nprofile1qqs9df4h2deu3aae83fmet5xmrlm4w5l9gdnsy3q2n7dklem7ezmwfcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz3rhwvaz7tekd3jks6rev3ehyargv9nk66tnxe6h2dn5w43kuerk0fmnwcm4vfc8z6mgweu8j7fhdfhkjmmrxs6k66mnwg6x2cty9ehku6t0dchsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ehx7um5wghxjmnxduhs5nd6j2 as well, but I believe it only supports one drive (dont see an option for a second in my test rig) so everything would go on on the 2 TB drive.
I like the first two options because the OS goes on the smaller drive and all the data (wallet, timechain and lightning channels) goes on the 2 TB drive. If the OS drive blows up, you just reflash the OS drive and continue on (after a small catch-up sync of the timechain).
I prefer the Micro version of the Optiplex, since it barely takes up any space, but there are SFF and desktop size versions as well.
Far superior to running a Pi and about the same price.

Make the front door bigger so they don't use the window!
Is this a joke?

It's criminal in my mind that this information can be accessed unencrypted.
Its been shut it down for a while now. They asked everyone to move their funds off a long time ago.
Running a lightning based service would be risky as soon as you run into trouble. Lightning is a bit tricky because if your backup is slightly out of date, channels are getting force closed and you'd have to manually piece together all the transaction logs. Looks like that's what they're having to do.
I played around with LNbits and LND custodial accounts back in the day and the thought of runing wallets for family members seemed very risky. If your node dies, good luck sorting it all out.
