This reminds me of E. M. Forster’s immortal quip - “How do I know what I think until I see what I say?”
Yes. I agree. The problem arises when some cohort of people arbitrarily decides that certain, but not all, speech acts are violent, equate violence to harm, and take it upon themselves to unilaterally censor said speech acts. If we accept that all speech is violence it takes the wind out of their sails so to speak unless they harbour the absurd desire seek to terminate the use of languages itself. More importantly, there’s no act more violent on nostr than not having zaps enabled!
Every linguistic act is violent by definition. It is not necessarily assault, although it can be, and most acts of assault are non-lethal.
They’re arils but other than that 👌

Did research and it’s a shaggy inkcap!
The reason I commented was because a lot of people were suggesting that - IMHO incorrectly. The darkness of the cap, and the lightness of the stem and scales suggest magpie to me. It’s an important distinction to get right as the former is yummy and the latter is toxic. (Caveat: I’m not a mycologist but am an experienced forager. DYOR etc and don’t die)
Coprinopsis picacea?
May I introduce you to Peter Watkins…https://youtu.be/ztkEJ5jYvjA
What makes you believe that they are “extreme left wing idealogues”? Is it simply the censorshio or something else?
