I just want a beta release of Damus Android if I have Purple. I can be patient while the team gets it ready for a public release.

You still need an email address for SimpleLogin. You might need to provide your other email to create a Proton account too. It was way easier a few years ago.

That's not an acceptable bug. Send max should subtract the fee from the max amount (that's the whole point of a send max button).

It also seems that I can't swap from liquid back to bitcoin to bump the fee. For some reason the confirm button won't confirm the swap.

It is showing my bitcoin balance as zero, as though it has already broadcast it to the network, & is asking me to bump the fee. This is retarded.

German engineering at its finest.

I think a lot of the early crypto figures suffer from greed and fiat gains. I don't think they have anyone telling them to stay humble and stake tokens.

I would keep my nsec in the Primal or Damus app only, if I could start over. Amber is essential if you're a power user. I'm surprised we haven't seen more big npubs get compromised.

OpenAgents Episode 149: Onyx Beta Launch

We launch Onyx v0.0.1, our first beta build for Android and iOS!

This build includes a local version of Llama 3.2 1B that runs privately on your phone.

You can download and try it now. TestFlight and APK links are at https://openagents.com

The chat is blazing fast for iOS, but sadly super slow on Android! We'll work on that & experiment with other options in the coming days.

Our goals for the next week:

1. Get chat stable & smooth for all iOS and Android users

2. Add in our bitcoin wallet & Nostr client; basic functionality smooth for both

3. Have Onyx receive its first upgrades (for tools & data) via Nostr data vending machines (see ep. 142)

We'll aim to release new versions of the app every 1-2 days, constantly adding features & fixes until we determine Onyx is ready for app stores.

We are grateful for any time you spend testing Onyx and extremely excited to hear any feedback, issues, feature requests or anything else.

The era of open agents begins now!
