From what I understand they used Ruby in the early days, then rebuilt in Scala as they scaled. I’m sure there are services/components built in other languages these days.
It’s a series, but I’m finding the Netflix rendition of One Piece to be highly entertaining. Pirates of the Caribbean vibes, but way more cartoonish and well… Japanese 😂

See I LOVE the flavor of premium olive oils. I have been to olive orchards and tasted single varietal oils that are mind blowing 🤤
But… I hear you on the every day stuff. Might try using more animal fats for cooking
They used to until a couple years ago. Apple Maps is pretty great these days
Yeah I buy decent brands of Extra Virgin - not cheap, but not super premium if used for cooking.
Do you have any recommended brands that are widely available in the US?

I wouldn’t be COMPLETELY shocked if they were blowing smoke in some regard, but knowing so many talented and smart people working there… I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I haven’t tried going strict no seed oils, but I never cook with them at home.
EV Olive Oil and Avacado Oil are still my go-to for most things, but otherwise I like:
Duck Fat > Butter > Lard > Ghee > Tallow
Chicken Fat is also nice, but I almost never have it
