₿eginner. From UK, in Japan since 1994.

Thank you! I am thinking of resurrecting my home recording hobby, posting some music. make a smidgen more in sats than I ever did with the legacy online platforms 🙂

Hello all, I am never going to contribute anything to nostr on the technical side. But I like the decentralized model and the tie in with bitcoin.

#introductions

One thing I like about Bezos's outfit, is that they offer a free box for the cat with every order.

Likewise, I started out trying keto/low carb. I now find eliminating seed oils and highly processed grains, sugar work for me. Bit I don't want to be the awkward guy that nobody wants to invite, so if offered something on a visit I will happily take it.

Im very new to this platform and still getting to grips with it. A follow instead?

Does anyone get a government that would survive as a private company? I.e. that offers value for money? I live in Japan, where they at least do better than in most countries, but I still can't say it's value for money (the taxes I've paid in).

The answer would seem to be, have nothing to do with Windows. I understand some people need for their work (e.g. to run CAD if self-employed) but it is better to separate them by running a Linux PC and a Windows PC.

Not another bloody typhoon!

I am completely new to nostre. I am no techie, but am a linux, FOSS user, and I am finding it hard to get nostre up and running as I want, and have a nagging feeling something's I haven't done right.

I find the guides so far not very helpful, and if I am struggling, the average person is not even going to try. If nostre is to grow it needs to be much clearer how to sign up. Maybe I just haven't found the right guide yet.

The only trouble with nostr is, it's difficult to find mainstream addled nutcases on it to waste time on. 😉
