I just realized that the way we count on our fingers is great for speed and instant recognizability since we are used to thinking in base 10, but it is incredibly inferior when it comes to how hifh you can count on your fingers.

Just by switching to base 2 and using every finger as a digital bit, you can count up zo 1024 on just your fingers.

Hell, if you considered using three positions and therefore effectively utilized base 3 wystem, you could count to 59049 just using your fingers.

This shit just blows my mind.

I am not very well versed in the technical details yet, but given, that your client likely maintains a websocket connection with several relays anytime you use the app, at the very least a curious relay operator could know your IP. Or anybody who gains access to any relay you communicate with.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable will correct me, but given my limited knowledge. that is what I would expect.

As far as I am aware, privacy is as much a part of Nostr as you make it.

Whoever knows your npub can see everything you post. If what you post can be used to identify you, it will be.

For example I shared a picture of my actual car which can be used to identify the country my car is registered in and the insurance company it is insured under. With a little bit of social engineering that alone can be enough to doxx me.

My chosen strategy is to not be important enough mark for anybody to target me specifically while making random attempts reasonably difficult.

Specifically people doing MacBook repairs are complaining a lot about Apple trying to prevent them from doing their job my making parts unavailable to unauthorized repair shops while replacing unnecessary partsor genrally fucking over the customer in their own shops.

Louis Rossman has a great channel on youtube, where he (aside from other things) explains in detail what issues independent repair shops face from Apple. (and not only them. but he specializes on Macbooks, so he talks a lot about them)

Finally got to doing rear brakes and hand brake on my Sabine.

The hand brake still needs a little fiddling as I tightened it too much in the cabin and not enough in wheels, but I am happy nonetheless.

Also if seeing the graphs is a requirement, the book should be rewritten. Every graph used in a book should either be properly explained in the text or not used at all. No exceptions.

Máš laťku moc nízko. Něco ze svých programů občas i splní. Naprostou většinu ne, z toho co ano, to většinou blbě, ale tu a tam i udělají něco co splní. Dokonce bych si troufnul tvrdit, že každá vládní strana v historii ČR splnila aspoň jeden předvolební slib.

Ono to hlavně chce zapracovst na práci s relays. Speciálně mít možnost si vybrat. z jakého relaye nebo z jaké kombinace chci vidět obsah a naopak na který chci posílat obsah. Tak jak s tím počítá protokol.

Celý výše popsaný problém je pak vyřešen jedním českým relayem.
