For us it’s really for archiving our notes in a way that they’re not vulnerable to deletion. If there’s more #thenukening events in the future (I think there will be, especially for free relays), then we would be able to rebroadcast any note we wanted to the public relays.

If your goal is to run a public relay that anyone can plug into then you’re correct that it’s of limited value.

I still flog myself, but I just use the various write in areas to write something like “read Anatomy of the State mises.org”.

If any of the poll workers or whoever reads the thing actually takes me up on it sometime I’ll view it as worthwhile, but I’m sure I’ll never know.

This answer begs so many questions.

Where does liquidity come from? Why is one thing liquid and another thing not? Is this implying that something being a good store of value decreases liquidity rather than increasing it? What evidence is there for that claim?

I couldn’t recommend being a parent any higher.

I don’t think this is sufficient. It’s correct in that Christianity isn’t about “going to heaven when you die”. However it misses the ultimate goal of God throughout both the Old and New Testament, namely the redemption and renewal of creation as the new heavens and new earth.

So you’re saying that we do go to heaven…
