Do they need to transact on-chain though? Transaction fees will only increase over time with more bitcoin adoption. Unless its a large amount people should use Lightning for transactions. Faster & much cheaper 👍

Just listening to a podcast and apparently a fairly well known Leftist gave a talk here in Portland recently. This Leftist is anti-cancel culture and because of it has quite a few enemies. After her talk she went to her car to find all the tires had been slashed and someone had taken a shit on the windshield. Indeed, some of the worst people alive live in Portland.
I moved to Portland at the end of 2005 & it was fantastic. Started changing rapidly after the gfc around 2010 but just went down the toilet once Trump won. The PNW is amazing and the nature around Portland still makes living here worthwhile but I wouldn't miss this city if I left, the politics here are fucking unbearable.
Its just symbolic at this point, they have no meaningful influence. I'd say it would far more beneficial to the world to fix the US political system first, and by fix I mean destroy it & replace it with something that actually benefits the people.

Ok well you need to figure out how to get a LNURL. Most Nostr accounts have their zaps sent to LNURL's. Mine is chipbutty@getalby.com. I suggest getting Wallet of Satoshi which will give you one as soon as you set it up & use that for now & then figure out Bit Banana later. Just my 2 sats

The easist way to get a Lighning address is to use Wallet of Satoshi. Its probably the most common Lightning wallet used on Nostr. It isn't necessarily the best but its very easy and once you get the hang of it you can get a more robust wallet. Wallet of Satoshi is available for iOS & Android 👍
