Hey Nico I was listening to the opening few mins of the podcast when you are talking about banks charging fees for accounts with amounts under a certain figure. It reminded me of an old Louis CK bit about being broke & dealing with his bank. This is an absolute classic piece of comedy & so very true too. That's the wrong way to think about people (and maybe a bit arrogant Hodl). Just because a person has a low IQ doesn't mean they aren't good people though. There's a LOT of very intelligent people in this world who are dangerous to large populations, such as many politicians. I care less about somebody's IQ most of the time and more about their character.

Yeah I understand what you're saying Matt & I've been using Nostr over a year now but unless others come onboard its just a niche thing for bitcoiners. I do hope the user base expands though, I really do. 👍

This response is accurate though & I really like Nostr & want to see it succeed but as long as Nostr is just used by bitcoiners it won't have a long term future. Social media for bitcoiners is fine, it'll just have a short shelf life.

I'm not sure investors in any type of asset take advice from Cramer any more but certainly he has zero influence on anyone holding bitcoin. Seriously, who would sell bitcoin because Cramer suggests it? That's right, no-one. I don'y know why people pay any attention to him tbh.

My concern with Trump becoming orange pilled is it will harden the left's anti-bitcoin stance even more. There's just no way the left are going to adopt bitcoin if Trump starts advocating for it.

It's fine to trust Odell but that doesn't mean he is right any more than Shinobi is wrong. So far Nostr hasn't gained any users beyond some bitcoiners & despite Odell regularly saying Nostr will be the standard it won't be if its just a sub-set of bitcoiners using it.

Been using Nostr for a year and not seen any growth outside of bitcoiners at all and it's only a very small number of the total amount of bitcoiners out there. I like Nostr a lot & big supporter of open source but Nostr isn't going to be the standard if only a very tiny fraction of internet users are using it. Regradless of your opinions of Twitter Nostr isn't going to replace it.
