Totally agree. Maxis who think everyone will custody their own keys are living in a fantasy land. Most people are just not going want that kind of responsibility & I totally understand that.
The NSA tried to stop encryption being used in the US, then after losing that battle they tried to stop open source encryption from being used outside the US. Difference now is it's governments vs corporations. What we need is a whole lot more open source stuff instead of a few massive corporations running everything. I agree about all these autocratic governments but I am also optimistic that we will win in the future.

T-Mobile recently changed & raised prices on all their plans. I've been a customer over 20yrs so wasn't happy when I saw the announcement that my plan would be eliminated & I'd be paying $10 more per month. I called them & fortunately as I've been with them so long they are keeping me on my original plan. Pretty sure none of this stuff would be happening if their former CEO John Legere was still there.
Silent Link says in the FAQ that they don't do outgoing calls & sms to prevent spam, which I see as reasonable.

Roofers are often left out. That work is brutal, they deserve more respect. I've had plenty of arguments with people who go on about robots taking all the jobs but they will never replace all the trades, just won't happen. A robot will never be painting your living room, ever!
