Yeah. I made that mistake with a guy. He was 19 yrs older. We got married. It was not good for either of us. In fact it was awful. We divorced.

A Story in Bullet points:

•yoga taught me to connect to God and bring his divine love into my life

•I eventually join a small church

• Church hates yoga andPastor thinks I am evil

• pastor does a special program series about cults . Yoga is the first “cult” he highlights🤔

•🤷‍♀️I am not very happy

•I try to make friends with pastors wife

• she likes my tan, I tell her I volunteer at a local farm , I like the earthy labor

• she braggs about her daughters high class education

•I try to reassure her I am a friendly “ peasant” And tell her the farm owner is a pastor

•wrong move☹️

•Pastor wife actually jumps back with an audible UGH waving her arms to shoo me away and turns to scurry away

•me : 😥

• she is now convinced I DO belong to a cult like the “Moonies” if anyone remembers them.

•whole church turns on me and I have to sit in the back by myself, congregation keeps telling me seats are saved

•me: 😢

• I leave church and try 2 others and pretty much same thing minus the cult presentation

• I finally realize God wants me to be among people not behind walls.

• happy ending me helping people manage emotional traumas with yoga/meditation etc, working with psychiatrist and in mental hospital on the 2 worst floors. Eventually creating my own small yoga biz.

Yoga us not just about twisting your body into strange shapes. Its more about using your body to change how your mind thinks. Simple , gentle postures or movements can be more effective in doing this too.

If you want an easy way to get rid of the spotted lantern fly use undiluted vinegar and spray them. Saw thus in s blog and just tested it. It kills them almost on contact and ones still moving around are slow enough to squash. Bonus is the vinegar keeps flys away. Just be careful with your plants cuz vinegar can burn them .

In case some are getting confused about shiny rocks, God’s money is unconditional love.

Hey can anyone suggest some info to read to help me understand what relays are and how to use them? I am not exactly clear about it . #learn #whatarerelays

So I am almost one month in at getting used to my new heating aids and the comparison of these 399$ ones and my previous 6 thousand$ ones is—these are keepers! Very happy with them! They work better in several ways compared to the expensive and over priced ones. 👍👍.

As I flipped thru the chapters to scan them real quick, this was tucked in the back pages. What a previous find!

Have you practiced your breathing exercise yet this morning? When you start your day with a breath meditation you oxygenate your brain while clearing out the interferences in your nervous system , giving yourself the free mind you crave .

Here is an easy one:

set a timer for 5 minutes. Sit in a chair or cross legged on the floor. Close your eyes and inhale. Suspend the breath ( hold) and focus on its living energy for as long as you can without struggling. Then exhale slowly in a controlled manner. Suspend the exhale breath( hold) for as long as you can easily do so. Repeat the process for the 5 minutes. When you are finished breathe normally a few times before opening your eyes and going into your day. ❤️

When I was teaching yoga and meditations to corporate company’s employees, I did a series on the chakras. When I announced the upcoming sessions to one group, a very excited fella told me he loved the chakras so much he had tattoos of them would I like to see them? 😐I thought it was novel and said sure thinking it was a small tattoo. He flipped off his shirt and there they were full size images located on each energy point along his spine and neck! He started to pull his pants down to show of me Chakra 2 located at the top of the sacrum but I stopped his enthusiasm. 😮I have no clue what he did about Chakra 1 but if he was tattooed with it .. um.. yikes! 🫣 whatta yoga hero?
