Absolutely.
It's so obvious when you zoom out:
- everything that can be censored will be censored
- without freedom of speech, democracy is impossible and tyranny is inevitable
There is nothing remotely as important going on in the world as nostr.
It may take time for everyone to realise but the future of humanity is here and nowhere else.
i thought this until i tried primal.net
Thanks. Yes it fits. Seem to remember he said something about "authenticate all the humans".. ..what, you mean YOU will authenticate them?? hilarious
It's only recently become really obvious to me how everything will go to nostr. Even if musk was benevolent, he can't stop doing some censorship, even for commercial reasons. Every centralized social media must turn to shit.
Plus it hadn't occurred to me: even apart from censorship nostr will be way better. If anyone has an idea for some crazy improvement, it will just happen.
Already with primal.net i just got that sense - its a twitter clone but there are plenty of things that are already better than twitter.
Its very exciting
is there some news i missed about twitter - or is that your expectation of what will happen?
will be the death of the platform if he does.. ..i hope nostr ready by then..
For desktop i couldn't get anything to work well until i tried primal.net.. ..which is brilliant, a real eye-opener to where we are going
or leave it and just take the seed...
haha primal.net is incredible
finally a web client that feels like it works..
..and with speeds and already features that feel *better* than a twitter clone
It's fine because for almost everyone the virus is dealt with in the nose/throat and spike doesn't actually get into the body where it can do damage..
.. oh wait!!!!
I partly want to laugh but the fact they did this to children is sickening
except if everyone knows that then it just makes physical appearance irrelevant for choice maybe (?)
Yep - grafting together series with different resolutions is a classic cheap trick, for CO2 as well as temp.
Climate has always changed - so if its warming now thats not odd. The only question is if its warming "unnaturally" and the only "proof" of this comes from these insane models. Its worth looking into that for amusement, they are literally extended weather forecasts.
Climate denier here :) yes I agree, there is no future for humanity except for nuclear power.
This is an argument I would use against the "consensus" of what I regard as climate hysteria - the people pushing this agenda are not at all interested in solutions like, because they don't actually care about the climate. They want justifications for bullying and controlling others - and, whether consciously or not - bringing in communism.
Solutions to the "climate crisis" are the exactly the opposite of what they want.
Bigger picture:
- we have no idea what 'normal' climate variation is, on the scale of decades (which is the relevant scale). All data proxies (from before thermometers - eg tree rings and ice cores) are smoothed so that level of detail is lost. Plus they are absolutely awful data. (Plus thermometer data is awful for a ton of reasons...). So there is no basis whatsoever for saying that what's happening now is unnatural.
- what does "global temperature" even mean? It's not the average temp of the earth (which is a 3D sphere containing quite a lot of molten metal!). So it's some definition of "the surface".. ..but which bits? At what altitude? And do yo use a grid? But we don't have a grid of observations so you have to interpolate - and there are a ton of ways to do this. ..and what if you use a different grid? The more you think of it the more stupid and meaningless it is. The only remotely meaningful measure is total energy stored in the oceans - as any temp variation that could affect surface life is going to be driven by this. But nobody is interested in total ocean energy (it is increasing at a tiny rate and doesn't seem obviously to correlate to human activity).
The whole thing is a nonsense as soon as you start thinking critically about it.

Natural immunity offers little protection compared to vaccinated immunity

Misinformation #2:
Masks prevent COVID transmission
"The pooled results of RCTs did not show a clear reduction in respiratory viral infection with the use of medical/surgical masks. There were no clear differences between the use of medical/surgical masks compared with N95/P2 respirators in healthcare workers when used in routine care to reduce respiratory viral infection."

Misinformation #3:
School closures reduce COVID transmission
Sweden:
"Keeping the schools open was conceived of as a necessary response to the pandemic, following a logic of events based on what was constitutionally possible to decide and every child’s right to education, and to keep parents in jobs for the protection of vital societal functions and critical infrastructure."

Misinformation #4:
Myocarditis from the vaccine is less common than from the infection
"Associations were stronger in younger men <40 years for all vaccines and after a second dose of mRNA-1273 vaccine, where the risk of myocarditis was higher after vaccination than SARS-CoV-2 infection."

Young people benefit from a vaccine booster
"Immunocompromised children and young people are at no increased risk of severe COVID-19"

"Age was the single most determinator of COVID-19 associated mortality, 50 years or older accounted for 98% of total COVID deaths. Age distribution of COVID-19 associated deaths in 2020 was similar to all-cause mortality age distribution in 2019."

It was important to get the second vaccine dose three or four weeks after the first dose
"An 8-week interval between the first and second primary series doses of Moderna, Novavax, and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines might be optimal for some people ages 6 months–64 years, especially for males ages 12–39 years, as it might reduce the small risk of myocarditis and pericarditis associated with these vaccines."

Data on the bivalent vaccine is ‘crystal clear’
–From eight mice.
"Pfizer presented preliminary findings in eight mice given BA.4/BA.5 vaccines as their third dose. Compared with the mice that received the original vaccine as a booster, the animals showed an increased response to all Omicron variants tested: BA.1, BA.2, BA.2.12.1, BA.4, and BA.5."

https://nypost.com/2023/02/27/10-myths-told-by-covid-experts-now-debunked/
Excellent list.
Here's another myth: covid jabs were even designed to stop transmission. They simply cannot do this as they are not active in the mucosal immune system - you need an inhaled vaccine for that.

https://www.cell.com/cell-host-microbe/fulltext/S1931-3128(22)00572-8
And another: covid variants evolved naturally.

I assume you are talking about mrna vaccine so here is the opinion.
Mrna vaccine are provably superior that annetuated vaccines. This is proven both by studies (1) and epidemiologic observation.
The problem is :
1. None of the early vaccines (let it be pfizer, moderna or early vaccine provide sustainable immunity (with nearly 84% inefficiency) after 6 months.(2)
2. The so called efficacy goes down with new generation of covid-19 variant (3)
3. Natural infection provides better immunity than vaccination (4)
4. There have been reports of post vaccination myocarditis, although the myocarditis incidence was found to be short term (5)
That is my unbiased review of this.
Tldr to me, the vaccine was released prematurely. However, covid was more aggressive that it changes the way epidemics have been managed worldwide.

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanchi/article/PIIS2352-4642(22)00272-3/fulltext
It's very likely that a lot of the apparent efficacy was manufactured by the way vaccinated / not were classified.
Eg if you got covid within 2 weeks of vaccine, you were counted as vaccinated.
That alone can basically make anything appear effective. After a while you get reversion to the mean type of thing and the "efficacy" disappears.
