On this day, a rabbit laid an egg and Jesus was hatched. Enjoy your ham dinner.

Yes, cinnamon and maple are basically indistinguishable when it comes to flavor. πŸ˜‚

Well my employer has found a buyer for the store, thongs should be finalized on May 27th. My employer is also my landlord and above my job is my home, so I've been pretty stressed out about this whole thing. However from my understanding the buyer says they want to keep the current employees as well as the tenants upstairs, which is my family and I. I'm hoping this is how things play out and that they aren't just saying what we all want to hear and dropping a nuke on us in a month.

Queen Maeve's blood work came back normal. Healthy girl. She had a stressful day giving blood and getting vaccines but she's home and relaxing. Gotta add to her bully stick funds.

GM, or GN. Pick one.

Everybody needs a good jolt on occasion.

The store I work for is up for sale with a few interested buyers. Unfortunately this doesn't just risk my job, it risks my family and my place to live because I live above my job. Funny (but not really) the day they told us this news was March 7th, Employee Appreciation Day. Last building I rented was sold to new owners and I was required to move. I was on the verge of being homeless and lucked out that my boss had an empty unit above the store and allowed me to move in. Then her son took over as manager and sunk 2 grocery stores and 2 corner stores on less than 2 years and had to be bailed out by his parents. Now they're on the verge of bankruptcy and have to sell their last 2 stores and apartment buildings. I'm basically about to be completely fucked with nowhere to take my family. Every time I caught up on things, something 100x worse swoops down to replace it.

Yeah I run Citrine on mobile and it doesn't seem to help with that issue. Bit I also don't know what kind of events it even supports as I forgot about it until you mentioned local relays. I hide or turn off a LOT of notifications.

Amethyst always shows that I have messages but when I go to read them, it's the same old messages I've previously read.

Sometimes a man just needs to sit in bed and eat beef jerky with his dog.

I was played by a coworker. This wasn't meme they made at the other store from the owners stupidity. But, it very well could have been.

It doesn't bother me most of the time but it can be annoying when she's restless and I wake up getting kicked in the spine.

My wife got the idea of letting the dog sleep with us for the first month or 2 when we got her. I tries to tell her if you do that, we're sleeping with a dog for the next decade. She thought I was crazy. 3 years later, we still have a dog in bed with us every night. Occasionally she'll lay with one of the kids if they're sick.

This shit here. This is the shit that drives me crazy with management and owners at work. Keep your tongues out of the pastry. Use the tongs, not your tongues.

Waiting on a king size bed to be delivered. Figured my dog needs a bigger bed to share with my wife and I since she likes to sprawl out and we wake up on the edge bent in half every morning.

Wondering if you could just boot PostmarketOS (based on Alpine) this way. Being able to boot into a GUI would be pretty sweet. I've got a Pinephone that I used as a daily driver for a few years but switched to a a Pixel 8 because the hardware was lacking and I couldn't tolerate it any longer. PHOSH and now GNOME (KDE Plasma as well, if that's your thing) are available for mobile Linux and a growing amount of apps are already mobile friendly.
