Most common reaction to this is good: in general parents shouldn't let their kids on the internet. But what if we could create a social media experience that was not only safe for kids, but healthy and constructive? If it's possible at all, it's possible with nostr.
There was talk of using bloom filters a long time ago, but I'm not sure what became of that
The ultimate test of nostr is whether developers allow their kids to use it
Nostr moves too fast
It occurs to me the airdrop spam accounts could be used as a data source for popular/trending accounts

Using consistent idioms
Coracle allows you to multiplex connections to save on data. No real low data mode, but might help
Haven't heard of him, sounds like a rad dude though
Who's your favorite founding father? Mine is James Madison, just because of the Federalist Papers. Hamilton on the other hand 😬
Partly, coracle's fetching algorithm is also not always complete. Something I'm working on but honestly it's concerning how much traction primal is getting, they are not a true nostr client in the sense that they do much more caching of data to improve ux.
Yeah, that's odd, I should fix that
Nostr is the Renaissance of the internet.
I just read this and was persuaded that there is no substitute for intrinsic motivation:
you either start doing something because you really feel like doing it, or you're probably not the person to do it (or the "it" is dumb and shouldn't be done)

Well said
I'm mid-rewrite of the backend, hopefull that'll solve this.
I already display them, I'm not planning on adding long form composition though
