Total time of intentional exercising 2 hr 26 min. This is pretty much my daily week day goal. It’s fairly rare to hit this on the 5 week days but sometimes I do. I drop the running on weekends to have a rest and do some recovery.

Today’s run was interesting as I pushed myself to hit a sub 6 min per km average. A while ago I dropped any sort of gamification of my exercise when my Apple Watch died, and in particularly with running, as I wanted to try the slow running method. I wanted to remove time and replace with zone 2 cardio sessions. I then had significant surgery in April which meant a very slow and measured approach getting back into running. On a recent trip abroad I started carrying my phone mainly to record distance as I was easing back into running. I have noticed that I really can’t help but look at the real time feedback while running pace wise. I have been doing a great job ignoring it, up until today. I noticed an opportunity to achieve a time based goal and before I knew it I was racing the clock. While there is nothing special about a sub 6 min per km average, I saw it as a way to quantify my recovery. I am happy to have caved today, but it’s back to slow running tomorrow 😁 #31days

There are a lot of angles being “mined” as explanations atm. The inter dimensional beings thing is not that new. What seems new on my radar though is the claim that said beings are angels and or demons and that a variety of biblical “incidents” are supposedly aligned with this idea. Consciousness gets conveniently thrown into the mix because no one knows what it is so it can’t really be attacked.

I’m 58ish. It would be fun to have you describe what 58 might mean for you and then I could describe what I have experienced 🤪

Yup! Trying to update my life OS with new skills. I am a slow learner when it comes to cooking/baking so I rely on closely placed repeats to understand what is going on with ingredients and tools. I am a big believer in attempting new things in groups of 3’s, as in 3 times should get you more or less a great result providing you are approaching each attempt as an observe, evaluate, correction process. The tweaks I made to SconeV2 based on V1 got me in the 95% (ish) range for success. One more go next week and I should be able to hit a home run every time in my own space 😁 Plus they remind me of my mum 🥹

These last few days of doing the SMF has been really good. Normally it’s a chore. The whole experience is about gentle motions while engaging in bodily balance challenges, long stretches, mostly eyes closed, body scanning using the minds eye, deep slow breathing, acknowledgment and letting go of internal dialogue and if possible a disconnection from the idea of a time bounded routine. That’s the ideal. I am always challenged by most of the above. Less so of recent. What I am calling progress has been entirely in my head. More time in longer movements, less distraction from the often continuous stream of thought, greater space between internal dialogue or replays and less of a sense to both rush the process and to rush into my day. #slowmoflow

Gm frens. Saturday morning here. It’s cold but I can see a bit of blue sky and the 2nd coffee is going down very well! My two “must do” activities today will be to visit a friend who is just home from hospital and to do the weekly grocery shop. Oh, and watch the weekend vlog activities 🤗

That is an interesting idea. My first response would be that 2-5 mins of someone talking about their thoughts would be overlooked as opposed to long form, but that reflects my own use case. However if someone is able to put together a well thought out presentation that can stand on its own as just audio then why not!
