oh by the way if you try my routine you will literally die unless you hydrate properly, this is because my workout is aimed at full body pump which is only possible with proper hydration
you need to take about 40 minutes to warm up during which time you will drink about half a gallon of water
then after you finish the workout your pump will begin to deflate and you will piss out about half a gallon over the course of an hour or two

by the way the reason big guys wear hoodies in the gym isn't because they want to sweat
it's because it helps them avoid eye contact which in turn allows them to talk less and superset more
by resting less and supersetting more is how they maintain the pump
i see beginners sit on machines and text thinking they are cool - the pros never do this
the pros come into the gym early and spend an hour talking to all their friends, then they put on a hoodie and don't stop to sit or text until the workout if finished - i actually think they may choose machines to superset that are far from each other so they can spend the time in between sets walking rather than sitting
they do have splits but they superset so much their actual workout is almost a full body workout like mine - so like Kai would mix lat pulldowns into a chest workout and Juan Morel would mix chin ups into his other exercises and so on ...
a split can be useful but sitting around for 5 minutes between sets texting isn't ...
the real value of a split is to vary the order and priority of exercises in a workout not to vary the exercises themselves ... but this is something too complicated to explain so beginners are taught the dumbed down version then when beginners see how actual pros train they try to teach the pros how to train "right" ( LOL ) because the pros don't train the way they teach others to train ...

the reason the "man in his 30s" in the video couldn't bear the thought of not training every day is because his training is so ineffective he doesn't need rest days. he never feels fulfilled by his workouts and that's why he always wants to get back in the gym. to me this only happens on the 4th day after workout or so because my workout is more effective.
if i don't train long enough ( more than about 3 days ) i start to feel sick. i can FEEL my muscles atrophying and my blood sugar rising. eventually it gets to the point i am unable to bear it and i have to go to the gym. but on the day after a good workout i just enjoy resting and recovering and feel fulfilled because i can feel the results of the workout from the previous day in my muscles and i know they are growing ( provided i am consuming protein ).
you should certainly always workout if you feel like it. but you won't feel like working out every day if you do full-body workouts that involve both explosive movements and high pace with little rest that leave you sore, pumped and exhausted all at the the same time.
my real motivation for my routine isn't to save time - but to save the mileage on my car's odometer, as well as to extend the life of my gym clothes by not having to put them through laundry after a few sets of curls with nothing real accomplished.
i see no point in constantly wearing out tires and laundry machine. if i drive to the gym and change clothes and shower and all that i want to get the most bang out of that workout.
marathon runners take a MONTH to recover from a race. Ronnie Coleman also used to take a MONTH to rest after Mr. Olympia competition. if you do your workout right you will be DELIGHTED to stay home and do nothing on the next day.
my system also naturally lends itself to sport training such as Olympic Lifting or Swimming
you can't integrate training for real sports into a bodybuilding split
my system is also infinitely scalable - when you feel like being a fat slob you can back off to once a week and when you feel like getting into peak shape you can step it up to every other day
full body every other day with no rest between sets would be training almost equivalent to what pro bodybuilders / crossfit athletes do
and yes, i trained in the same gyms with dozens of IFBB pros including Kai Greene etc. and they don't train like you beginners do. they don't rest - they superset. i didn't invent this system i just adopted and modified what top IFBB pros do while combining it with elements of Crossfit etc.

i do full body circuit training
no splits and also no hogging equipment
i move from one piece of equipment to the next without any rest and if somebody is using the equipment i just do something else
the key is to maintain the pump continuously in the entire body by not stopping
i make exception to this when doing legs because you can't do legs without breaks between sets but for all of the smaller stuff like curls etc there is really no need to rest - just switch to something else
with my system you only need to go to gym twice a week for same results as training every day on sucker routine like what you do
