X.com is boring.
You can tell lies by their performative contradiction.
The top 1% of U.S. earners now control more wealth than the entire middle class.
Peak fiat clown world.

This is a stupid assertion.
It's called a dominance hierarchy, and is an indelible part of the nature of reality.
It will always exist, even with a 100% Bitcoin world.
"Control" is also wrong.
No one controls income, because it's determined by how well a person meets the needs of other people.
And because that list of 1% will be different in one year.
This is very zero sum game thinking, born of poverty mentality.
If someone wants to graduate to rich, make better choices, then you'll not be middle class anymore.
When you make Jesus Christ your LORD and savior, ascent becomes your nature.
In Harbin, China once (At Heilongjinag International University, where I taught and lived) I was feeling like a victim of certain attacks. But the Holy Spirit kept bothering me to read, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. And I got so encouraged reading it because he convinced me I had, not in so many words, an internal locus of control.
It took years of God's interventions and people's help to uproot victim mentality from my life, but thank God it's happened.
The more I interact with Jesus, the more I come away believing I have the ability to utterly crush my goals and win.
Something about interacting with Jesus makes people intensely bold, confidant, and unstoppable.
Nostr, as a community, is an open click anyone can join if they're not a fucking coward. Well, even if you're a coward you can join and then work towards being courageous. Progress, not perfection!
Here's your friendly reminder that you're not God and you never will be.
I went through a multi-year process of getting re-parented by God, through fathering and mothering, which largely gave me what I didn't get growing up, and thank God for it.
So now, I get to father my son the way God the Father has fathered me, and it's may be the third best thing that's ever happened to me.
1. Accepting Jesus into my heart at age 5
2. Marrying my wife, age 41
3. Having my son, age 45
4. Moving to Asia for a while, age 30
5. Becoming a teacher and/or author, age 30 - present
Laws are downstream from culture, and culture is downstream from spirit, and part of spirit is the quality of money, or lack thereof.
These Netflix nature documentaries are actually based af.
I had no idea. 😂

Jesus told me to tell you to stop being a little bitch. 😉 😂 🤣
No problem. This is totally genuine.

Baby's laughter is pure joy.

The US government doesn't break up "monopolies" because monopolies are dangerous.
They break them up because monopolies are too competent and may become more powerful than the government.
When what he says is interesting to me, it's because he's a very strategic thinker.
Eventually, Bitcoin culture will make firing bad school teachers easy, and teacher's unions drastically reduced in power, if not outright illegal.
Absurdist reductionism on full display.
As if on cue someone I was following posted something horrific that I saw right after I read this and I instantly blocked them.
You are not operating on first principles. If spending drives an economy to be successful, then fiat would succeed, but it fails.
Human needs give rise to demand, relative to the soundness of the trade system bring used, which modifies time preference. High time preference typically leads to poor economic decision making, while low time preference often leads to higher quality economic decision making.
If "hardly anyone spends" it's because they haven't found a product or service that's worth more than the perceived worth of their Bitcoin in the long run. Therefore, "hardly anyone spends" is actually an indictment of the perceived quality of products and services, not the Bitcoin saver.
This isn't a problem with Bitcoin or Bitcoiners or saving Bitcoin. It's a problem of products and services quality, since self-custodied Bitcoin is very high quality, why trade it away for something that isn't of higher quality?
Their are plenty of cantillionairs who have had cultural influence, plenty of negative influence because of their high time preference spending.
Therefore, spending is a bad metric for positive cultural influence. It's the quality of individual decisions that leads to positive or negative cultural influence based on their selected personal values and belief systems.

If you think spending is what drives an economy, you would enjoy reading about Keynsian economics.
Michael actually says something interesting here.

You have no problem with setting nostr.
wine as a default.
Thank God the same developers aren't working on Bitcoin!
That should probably be done by default.
It's because he doesn't believe in Bitcoin as money.
Forgiveness is necessary and commanded and important, and setting boundaries and trusting isn't the same as forgiveness.
If you believe "This is like the whole argument," then you don't understand the argument which means you haven't done your research. It would behoove you to do your own research before straw manning their argument.
Through the use of force and/or fear, freedom cannot be imposed on those who want slavery.
Let's try that again.

I thought I would have Gemini create a story illustrating how disagreement doesn't need to turn to violence, but the PC Gemini wouldn't let me, so we compromised with a story showing that people have the right to think and disagree without slandering one another.
Which is true.

I'm SO bad at CAD.
Using FreeCAD makes it worse...
I'm learning again.
Anyway... I wanted to try a few layouts for solar panels for building the big ground mount:
I've decided on the portrait layout. It's near 30ft wide. As opposed to the over 60ft for the landscape layout, and that is too long for the space and work for the strings to the MPPT controlers' voltage limit. You must never exceed the voltage limit on the controller. Being that it gets cold, the voltage rises enough here in Maine to necessitate not running up against that limit in the summer.
I'm working on modeling the actual ground mount, though I'll likely have to finish it next week since I'll be out in the wilds the next few days.

Cool.
Decentralization has enabled us to produce culture, and culture is superordinate of government.
Therefore, what we are creating today will be the government of tomorrow.
People are attracted to clarity, and structure helps to bring clarity, and what you're suggesting is basically, bring structure (and quality).
