Oh my. π€€ Iβm slightly annoyed that itβs 2am, Iβm awake and drooling over the photos.
The extreme belief and cult like behaviour seems expected. It's still gambling to me. Even in its current state, I still don't see it replace the fiat system. I think the "bros" need to continue to fuel the fire because they're likely heavily invested in it. If it drops or fails, they've got a lot on the line.
I'm no bitcoiner but I support it. I'm not here for the sats/zaps but I support it. (Lighting is f fantastic tho) I'm mostly here because I wholly support decentralisation in its purest form where the user is king ..or queen in my case.
I'm rarely home but when I am I realise that I should be home more often. Cheers from the top of the world (or so they like to call it).

lol. People have gone completely mad.
You mean they don't publicise their blocklist?

"Close to zero".
What did Affalterbach expect? lol
America needs more of that badly.
I get this a lot. Sometimes I confuse paranoia with being wired after I had an extra dose of caffeine.
Death comes for everyone. When you care about the person, there is never a right time for it. Except when you watch them suffer in pain in a deteriorating state, you wish for nothing else but for it to end.
Training is hard work! Good on you for doing that. Pits are sadly the most misunderstood but they are a great breed when done properly with consistency. People only need to meet one well behaved Pit that will change their mind about the breed.
If I were to get one, I would seek out a rescue. I'm not particular with the breed tbh. It's more for saving a dog or two. However, to answer your question, I'd go for the Alsatian/GSD or any of the mountain dogs that can stand the cold. I live in the mountains and we have brutal winters. We have Swiss mountain or shepherd dogs that are perfect for the role as well.
Alsatian and GSD are the same. I grew up calling them Alsatian when I learned english. It's probably outdated. π
That's fantastic! You do the training as well?
I grew up with bred for purpose guard dogs, Dobermans. They were not social but extremely obedient and loyal. Then we had Alsatians. And an akita that outlived all of them.
It's a massive responsibility and I don't want to let them down. π I honestly don't.
Lovely!
Very much a dog human. I grew up with big dogs at home. Unfortunately I have not had any pets in the last decade as I travel too often. Someday soon.
You may have answered this a million times but what kind of dogs do you have?
