Very long but highly recommended. Especially for any parents out there.

#education #learn

Although not the worst thing that could happen, blowing the bottom of your hole out and losing circulation really does lose time!

(I have always appreciated technical language in the firld of drilling oil wells.)

OOOOF another impostor. Why waste people's time? So low frequency. I sincerely hope you find the time to ask yourself if this is a life well lived. If not, may you enjoy your older years contemplating that thought

Aww heck, who needs judiciaries anyway?

If you're writing that in a note rather than undertaking the physical action, is that an inauthentic clout? 🧐

Ooof I actually tried listening to the whole American debatey thingy. Managed a good 45 minutes but enough for me. Only conclusion I came to in that time was if there’s any American left who is questioning why the wealthy are buying bunkers, am stumped! (Stacked some sats today so all is good in the world!)

I doubt there is an answer so how could I mind?! Gnite sir!

Will the more open access to information and platforms for discussion and dissemination in a more decentralised world result in less understanding of scientific topics or does it provide a greater platform for pushback against ego of those in scientific ivory towers?

A name carries a lot of weight in research and a rebuttal can crush aspiring new researchers. I am sure a lot has taken place in the past that might result in stymie of the scientific growth of knowledge but am curious whether a far more open field of questioning will improve our human knowledge base

I'm afraid everyone rewrites history sir and we are unlikely to have a terribly coherent version that reflects the truth 100% anywhere. I would suggest considering a few things, Gandhi was a absolute racist and he's still revered for demonstrating the power of unarmed protest. Although his actions may have been slightly misguided and mistimed, the impact was very profound.

With regards to murder, when Madeleign Albright was asked for comment on reports that the US military had killed 500,000 children in Iraq, she responded with "It was worth it"

When I still used other social media, I remember watching some things pass my feeds from friends in the arabic world. They were memes or graphical posts about USA and UK. Not very different from anything on the threads we are discussing. Just a thought

Many hate and many of them have reason to hate. We also all do our own form of bullshit! I think that might be something I find fascinating on nostr. As someone who's been through racism and stuff, I really am not that bothered at all. I just follow people, ignore the things I don't agree with and look for the positive sides in people

Why go back and forth if upset, simply block. That is freedom of speech. Maybe we should all consider we have freedom of listen too

Also the times you find out the most about others….. good or bad! Often times of cementing long term friendships

Is nostr the only place people have ever been paid just for saying Good Morning?
