Technological optimism in current dark age.

Is it really stable diffusion running locally or some CoreML based software?

As for relays https://github.com/barkyq/gnost-relay works if you comment out the fsnotify real time configfile feature. It still needs the postgresql connection though, which cannot be installed as far as I know. We would have to modify it to use a native go database or… Plan9 NDB. Imagine displaying notes as filesystem files.

Noscl builds and runs on Plan9.

- 9front has CAs but not the format that can be read by the go runtime. Fix by running `hget https://curl.haxx.se/ca/cacert.pem >/sys/lib/tls/ca.pem`

- noscl useprivate will put trash into the config file. Use acme to manually edit it and insert the private key.

Thats it.

What is this musical and aesthetic perfection.

Mastodon is not the answer. Don't put your whole internet identity in the hands of reddit admins running feudal twitter clones.

The fact he switched from emacs to Vscode is a canary to demonstrate he is compromised.

Anyone uses nix on MacOS? Is it good? Does it installs stuff into the OS (services whatnot). I don't like installing stuff even on Linux where I use flatpaks and podman on top of an immutable OS.

Bluesky has embraced its status as a corporation.

The invite method would have worked a few decades ago but nowadays its pretty much a guarantee your user base will be an obnoxious arrogant circlejerk of very opinionated people.

Nostr reminds me of discovering the internet in the early 2000s. Of forums, web rings, internet relay chats full of weird people. It also makes me happy that I can enjoy something social without the guilt that comes from browsing Meta and Twitter.

I love the attitude. Keep normies away.
