You don’t need to buy the deluxe edition. Since early access is gone. You’re most likely gonna get couple hundred hours out of it. The story is amazing. Game feels good to play. So yes worth it.

Iy also heals relatively fast. It’s just kinda scary. When I did it, I didn’t feel a thing like painful or anything, it’s just thinking about what they’re doing to my eye makes me skin crawl.
What’s amazing though, was when the surgery is completed, I could see clearly instantly. It really blew me away.
I wouldn’t suggest it if it’s not really necessary though. Not saying it’s not safe, but it’s kinda scary. Like they cut your cornea open and burn a part of it off. It’s really kinda horrifying.
