Four years ago this month I received my first sats over the Lightning network via BlueWallet.
I learned about the Lightning network when #[0] tweeted out something from some guy named #[1]. I asked some questions on Twitter and a helpful nym told me about BW and sent me some sats. If you look at the #LNTrustChain started by #[3], you can see that BlueWallet was very much a part of it.
I will be forever grateful for their efforts to bring more new people to the Lightning network and look forward to more people using their software for cold storage solutions and running their own Lightning node for themselves and their friends and family.

So what now?

LNUrl seems like a heavy choice for NIP57. Keysend with an asynchronous JPT receipt would impose less burden on client and server interfaces as things scale: https://github.com/Podcastindex-org/podcast-namespace/issues/355
Not everyone is running their own node, though?
Thank you for helping everyone get started over here.
