Patience is something we cultivate where we have limited #patience. We have patience do things we choose to have patience for.

The #fitness industry is no different than the medial model when it comes to offering you the “magic” pill with 30 days challenges, 8 or 12 week #transformations

I’m not dissing these programs. The marketing is usually “you will fixed or balanced hormonally” in this amount of time.

I would run these programs with the intention that it is simply a template to help me help you make this a #lifestyle.

As you can see @wheelie_fit is having trouble with this 190 pound log. This was from a few weeks ago. While this was his third rep and by far the worst, the first were bad as well.

He is prepping for #strongman comp in November. He has to do way more than this.

While he is paralyzed from the waist down I did heavy band mobs on his #shoulders #hips and #ankles

I did #pdtr on his shoulders, hips, knees and ankles. Just because he didn’t have use of his legs doesn’t mean tightness can’t happen. Doesn’t mean there won’t be sensory receptors that need work.

The next thing I needed him to do which was hugely important was getting in and out of his chair on the non-dominant side. He had a huge muscle imbalance.

His amazing coach @iliak9_fit of @maukastrengthteam does great work to begin the process of bringing this gap closer to balance. She’s not with him 24/7.

So, within a few weeks of using his non-dominant side, continuing to listen to his #coach he can now press 220!! This is a new PR for him!

It’s slay exciting being able to help people move better and get out of #pain.

I’m going to make this short, sweet, and simple.There’s so much out there regarding how you should or shouldn’t eat. At the end of the day people are disconnected from themselves. What is driving obsessive food behavior is fear. Your attitude and relationship towards food is a mirror around your relationship and attitude towards self. This is what people are avoiding.“If I’m thin everything will be ok” “if I’m fat then no one will love me and I’m worthless”Sound familiar? We all go through these feelings. I do not care if you’re #vegan/#vegetarian, #carnivore, or #omnivore. The thing is we all are these at some point. There are days I don’t want meat at all. Other days that’s all I eat. It boils down to are you even connected to yourself to understand what you need. This is where logging your food and collecting data starts to come in. #Intuitive eating only works after you’ve collected data and learned about yourself. Any lifestyle worth following is is worth questioning. I question it every day.Medical #astrology or AstroNutrition I will look at aspects to key planets that have rulership over the macronutrients. #Macronutrients are #protein, #carbohydrates, #fats. Oppositions (the term is self explanatory) and squares (a challenge) in the birth chart or what is currently going on in the sky creating these aspects will have an affect on you and how your body is receiving or not receiving these macronutrients.Protein: this word is derived from a Greek meaning ‘of prime importance’. It is the living part of all animals and must continually be replaced. I had no plans for this hike today. The trail I wanted to hike was closed. I didn’t feel like turning around. My girl needed a walk badly.

I’m glad I was redirected. Last weeks redirection was a bit more in my face and I didn’t like it. I’m coming to terms with it.

The foggy and frosty hike with my girl was just what I needed. This will be spectacular when #spring comes.
