I mean. I'm starting to change myself (I was never really prone to change. I was somewhat a dump of ideas I thought were irreplaceable) but in my journey to change I found myself obsessed by the idea of not being able to change the bitcoin part. How can I change myself completely if the bitcoin appendix can't really be cut off (the idea of bitcoin is so persistent in my mind that I don't know if I will really be able to take it off)
Is that more clear?
I have a question. Can an idea as persistent as Bitcoin be changed?
I doubt this is likely to happen. ETFs are not pretty low time preference as far as I understand and they will try to rug people but, with bitcoin and lightning, they will get "bankrun" and the Bitcoin community will make fun of them for years for being so arrogant. They are fucking around and will find out, specially now that bitcoin is going to become scarcer than gold.
However, I like the idea you try to convey about the state being latent threat in the future.
A cbdc competes with other cbdcs, even if it is on top of bitcoin. I suppose USA can't afford to lose the liquidity advantage of the dollar. I highly doubt the US government/stablishment will be able to roll a cbdc out of this situation. Opinions are welcome
At the end of the day, bitcoin is money for enemies, therefore the thesis remains somewhat intact 😅
Democracy is just a tool that's being abused by certain groups of people. It's not an angel or a devil. Just a tool
Let's go! Maybe the mooners 🤷

At least it's a good way for bitcoiners to notice the insanity of the fiat system
I don't know, but part of living is having conviction, force, not being dragged by the inertia of the world. I can say a person without conviction is almost dead if not completely
If you can sow doubt in the minds of people, a tiny fraction of them can treat bitcoin seriously and adopt it effectively. If at least a person can adopt bitcoin and be part of the network in each iteration, that represents an exponential increase in the power of bitcoin.
I don't like the idea of degenerates trying to scam other people (because it's completely unconstructive) but if you need lemonade ... the point is Bitcoin goes up no matter the plans of any adversarial participant.
Todos importan mucho más de lo que creen. El problema del mundo Fiat es que nos hace creer que somos minúsculos e impotentes
Now imagine that every buck printed is a new law. Do you think then that your government will be satisfied issuing new laws/dollars?
Changing the rules of bitcoin can have unintended consequences. If people are thinking about changing Bitcoin, I think it's more adequate discussing that after the demise of fiat, not now
