Not sure the best way to fix it if it's an lnbits mint, this info endpoint should return a public key for the mint.

We still add the mint, but just point it out to try to get you to follow the spec.
Yes makes sense, I chose to test on VPS for better clearnet reliability & uptime, so this issue makes sense. My node is the funding source for this LNBits instance, but maybe cashu can't identify that somehow (since instance is not hosted on same hardware as pubkey)

Glad you brought this up. I missed a very important comment yesterday when responding. I have found this only works IF you have already added the mint to your wallet, PRIOR to attempting to receive any ecash from said mint.
You MUST TRUST the mint first before you can accept offline. This is what I've found.
Trust is so important
If you're just trying to accept ecash without adding the mint first, it'll prompt to add the mint, then generate an invoice to receive (not what I want for said test)
steps imo
- add mint first
- then scan qr/paste token to receive strictly ecash only.
Just my experience so far, could be wrong. Hope this helps

All mints I run is for educational and testing purposes only. This is still new tech and know there is potential for loss of funds and/or rugpulls from said mint operator.
We will do a public test soon but itll still be for educational and testing purposes only. I'm learning by doing just like you.

This could help
- Safety shut it down (unplug the internet on it) best you can
- rollback to previous version (I assume SD card) you know works
- plug in and turn on, wait 5-10 minutes before attempting to login
See if that at least can bring you back to what you had

The node operator can see where the HTLC(s) end up, that is all as far as I know.
But that is actually obsucated since the mint sends multiple HTLC's and returns the necessary change to ecash user. So its still hard to identify imo
