Enjoy time with friends & family today touch grass🌿
Trying to make sure I zap and respond back to all you who comment/ask questions 💜
"One-Tap-Zaps" are the shit with NWC😎
Agreed. This is why I don't want diesel or propane setup; still reliant on distribution of energy source. Plus the cost is far more than just efficiently using local electric/natgas grid
My personal numbers for natgas grid costs per is $0.025/kWh! Need to get that setup ASAP
(This is me, running a General, hooked up to local natgas grid). So still reliant on distribution but much more resilient than on-grid electric.
Correct; ypu are now the datacenter and there is a lot that goes into that.
AWESOME to have own solar and water source. I just buy water filters for now, but I would like to make my own (cheaper to buy for now).
As I'm not a sufficient programmer /coder (yet) (I mean look at my weak AF github) I found it best to just run on regular hardware you can buy anywhere
- overpowered mini PC/desktop for being on the cheap
- some things are in containers, but that's how to software was setup when downloaded like running GPT4ALL or JAN. AI
I 110%, once you start to go "big" with true sovereign setups, you become a "target", especially in suburban neighborhoods. Much easier on country roads with 100+ acres, no neighbors
To get started with simple plug-n-play modules, run a simple meshtastic setup
Get two HeltecV3 boards (ESP32 with LoRa) and have a play. Very easy to setup; many easy to follow along guides on YouTube and various other places online.
(Tried to #zap you as well. Setup a Lightning@Address to receive zaps!)
No cap here
Tried to zap you but got this👇

Maybe theres a mistype in your lightning @address?
Wow thank you Nostr, I really didn't expect this to get such deep engagement.
I, as all of us, have much more to build to be more sovereign, and I could do things better in many areas.
I'd say my biggest weakness is in sharing & documenting everything I do.
I just DO (look at my weak AF github jeez).
Going forward my biggest focus is sharing all this so you can do this yourself.
Y'all are awesome keep fighting the good fight for Freedom💜
What is your budget? Best starter printer IMO is Sovol SV06.
- Larger build volume
- FOSS
- highly upgradeable
- Prusa clone (so, workhorse)
Only ~$199
Just multiple meshtastic devices setup in my local area for close family & friends. Much to improve there as its not quite what I want yet
- range isn't good enough (need to get antennas higher)
- need solar+battery setup so not relying on hard line power
- need a better way to setup more privacy-focused MQTT server for global reach
Correct. This is a newish anon account and I'm new to actually using github.
Please share some suggestions on how to best share stuff that's not directly code-related on github.
Preferably just Git.
Far more replies than I thought I'd get. Feel free to ask questions.
LOVE IT. Short answer is no, that is on the list to complete over time of course.
- "hospital" setup would be just for local family & close friends. Quite a task IMO but doable and necessary
- airline; soon™️ (when can afford own [large] plane with paved runway and hanger)
- ISP; on the list. We can do this via Nostr and mesh/HAM
- Water; yes (forgot to mention that!) Of course Filter most of my water (not for lawn and garden)
- Sewer; no. On the list💪
Simply use local free WiFi via your VPN(s) and you can communicate as needed.
No need for SMS/cell service.
Wind is fine too but don't wanna see the turbines tbh
I'll note more on my various progress on said projects. Thank you for your kind words💜
Havent decided whats best for our family yet but a mix of;
- Natural gas well
- (maybe) waste products (like burning trash but ehhh not enough volume & quite dirty)
- compound solar & store energy (basically step-up power via transformers and store in battery+capacitor setup
- some other creative ways but all sourcing from list above
If you have any other ideas please feel free to share.
Complete stock. Absolute zero calibration yet but finally got it to extrude and print.
Yes its bigger than you think.
Doing a complete custom build.
I'll share my new toolhead design when I finish it.

Been slowly working on making hivetalk into a app for this exact purpose
Just curious;
Why closing tor relays ?
Whence came you?
Great to read a note from you thanks for saying hi. Keep enjoy your journeys 💜

After several weeks of work, I think I have a working implementation (very basic so far, and lots of caveats..) of something that solves this problem. To recap:
you want to prove that you own a total of T BTC, but privately. But revealing exact amount may make it too easy to deanon. So I have a proof of this statement: "I own N utxos, whose total value is between k and k + 2^n, for some k and n that I announce, but I am not revealing which N utxos they are, or what their individual values is, out of a given list of 300k utxos". The code at https://github.com/AdamISZ/aut-ct/tree/auditing now does this.
See the latest commit note. In brief you need 3 or 4 components to the proof: 1/ a proof that each blinded commitment is part of that 300k set, 2/a proof that each committed value, when summed together, lies in the given range (using bulletproofs), and 3/ key images per utxo to ensure you dont' cheat by just claiming the same utxo multiple times.
I'd shop in person at a 'LeatherMint' store
