Ditched Telegram for 0xchat a while ago.

Can('t) wait for group calls/voice rooms.

In the process of migrating those close to me that aware of the implications.

Yep, been using this on noStrudel for a while now.

Really great option for users to consider.

Replying to Avatar node

Worth noting, many news outlets state Telegram will share information, including IPs and phone numbers.

Keyword: "including".

We're reaching a point of "Just because we can.", but unfortunately not in a healthy, sustainable way.

This only happens when everyone is hodling, and summons the biggest and hardest of diamond hands.

If you're thinking about selling, think wisely.

You may not get another such chance.

I figured it out.

I'd accidently removed the description line in the config file at some point in the past and misinterpreted the NIP5 functionality for a "Only post if DNS verified anywhere".

My NIP5 isn't done by my relay at present - That was the crux of the issue really.

Fuck yes.

Finally.

Based off #FreeSamourai Wallet, a dojo node is now mandatory.

Whirlpool removed, but ricochet etc is still included.

Why Tether?

Go straight to Bisq, or better yet Robosats.

Localbitcoins is no longer operating.

Peach Bitcoin is also an option but will eventually fall for the same reasons Localbitcoins did.

Absolutely, but as you allude to, fiat doesn't like competition, and when those ramps are relying on the very thing they're supposedly competing against, you could see this from a mile a way.

Let's be clear, KYC and such other regulatory pressures have been on the Bitcoin's doorstep since 2014.

The first big reminder/warning of this I can remember was from Satoshi when they said the swarm was coming for us (Relative to Tor at the time, sure, but also, likely not).

Warning after warning, I personally got tired of it all and ditched all such attack vectors I could see - It's just easier than having to rely on doors that are constantly closing, and at more rapid pace as they goes on.

I think 10 years later, the UX has improved to the point there is no excuse to not be free.

It didn't, but I'm looking into whether nostr-relay-rs has verbosity switches.

Firewall isn't the problem, it's not a network issue.

Always first thing to check - Nothing found in this case.

This will keep happening until people just make the switch to decentralized alternatives.

You can't marry Bitcoin to fiat-based traditional systems, and stop trying to pretend you can,

If you keep jumping from centralized platform, to centralized platform, you're part of the problem.

Any idea why I can't publish to my nip-05 verify-enabled relay, even though I have a valid nip-05 identifier?

Anyone run into this?
