You can pay with Bitcoin, LN, or Monero
skip all that bs.
Just use Mullvad or IVPN. Accountless.
Yea, you can use whatever you want I don't want to stop anyone. I'm just giving my opinion like everyone else in this thread.
Because I'm not the one claiming Bitcoin and Monero are the same thing.
You are the one claiming Bitcoin and Lightning are the same though.
I said it isn't Bitcoin. If you consider that a shitcoin that is your own opinion.
I do know Bitcoin and Lightning work competely differently. That is not even debatable.
https://lightning.network/ no where here it says convert btc to a shitcoin it says CREATE a path š
Ok, who are you arguing with? I didnt say that
The argument was between btc vs ln. Plenty of Monero users also stack Bitcoin.
Lightning on the otherhand is something else...
Why don't you keep your full stack of bitcoin on lightning if they are the same? And if you are not running a lightning node you are trusting someone elses...fyi
Bitcoin and lightning have very different security trade-offs and UX. They are not the same.
-LN very rarely used in P2P fashion. LN is nearly unusable without massive centralized hubs to route without failing.
-LN is offchain. Not final settlement until on chain. Possibility to be rugged by channel peer or host exists without an active node.
But even worse, the UX is so terrible ~90% of LN use a custodial, closed source wallet š¤®

Don't think the Canadian truckers would agree
Whirlpool is cool to have if you *must* use bitcoin...
Otherwise I can't think of any other reason to use over monero...besides being a masochist who likes to pay more money, waste time, and like your privacy inferior and unnecessarily difficult...š
Bitcoin miners can see and censor specific "blacklisted" transactions and start causing trouble way before even reaching a 51% attack.
Monero miners cannot since that info is hidden. So it is even more censorship resistant in that regard.
Monero makes more sense as a MoE. Much cheaper tx fees, fungible, default privacy. Bitcoin coinjoin privacy is cumbersome, inferior, expensive, and time consuming...I did it for a long time and realized it just didn't make any sense unless you have no choice. And the more you use it the poorer you get.
Bitcoin is a better SoV imo.
But still glad whirlpool is available and you are there to guide bitcoiners on noKYC and privacy path, Mike.
Is banning every other crypto from the country except bitcoin opt in?
Even if I believed elections were a legitimate form of consent (theyre not) why are you so quick to believe a suspect 90% approval rating? That's literally what every dictator says lol. He already revealed his iron fisted proclivities.
I thought the point of bitcoin was to seperate money and state. So who gives af what Nayib thinks or says about anything. Many Bitcoiners were immediately duped because he says what they want to hear like any politician naturally would.
If this guy designed a custodial wallet for his citizens he is either 1) an incompetent ruler who after all this time STILL doesn't understand bitcoin, or 2) has nefarious intentions.
Probably the best swap aggregator. Most popular with Monero community. Open source, no javascript, tor/i2p available. They vet and insure for most of the providers.
