Most women most often date men a few years older than them. Mary Tyler Moore married a man 20 years younger. Rather than do math to see if she fits into some baseless "rule", we could just wish her a very happy life because there's not a shred of evidence that age-gaps are harmful in any way. About 100 years ago Margaret Mead went to Samoa and lived with the people there. The Samoans had no adolescence. It didn't exist. When she described it they laughed at the silly weirdos who live in the USA.
Our culture created teen behavior. It is not innate.

We learn to be adults by being in adult spaces and interacting with other adults. When I was a teen we started doing that in our early teens. 13-15 was "just learning to be an adult" Now 18-22 is "just learning to be an adult"
