Yeah I remember as a kid not being able to afford the $10 paid version when it came out and running servers for others with the cracked version 🤣
Damn.. Garry's Mod is the only video game I ever got really into, thanks for your service.
SearXNG has been pretty sweet, idk how enjoyable using public instances is though or their response times https://github.com/searxng/searxng
Chrome will kill Ublock Origin and other adblocker extensions.
If you cling to chromium based browsers (Brave included), have fun getting ads and trackers, loser. Use librewolf/firefox like a big boy.
https://9to5google.com/2023/11/16/chrome-extensions-disabled/
I use/recommend Firefox but this article says "Improving content filtering support by providing more generous limits in the declarativeNetRequest API for static rulesets and dynamic rules" which actually improves support for adblockers
I have the same experience on a galaxy note 10+, had to switch to plebstr as well

Great headline
Would be nice if it wasn't so easy to have my relay list hijacked... maybe finer grained permissions for event signing?
Is there any easy way to track which client is modifying my relay set? #nostr
Are prediction markets gambling? nostr:note18veyl3xg9d6fhq3f03fam39fn8x6u0mkwhlpavrjxtfm5x5gp6ms0q00lk
Would be fun to have a prediction market mode where the author decides the outcome and then funds get reallocated to winners.
Love #Amethyst but the feed always becomes extremely laggy on my phone.. 😮💨 plebstr doesn't have as many nice features but the feed isn't extremely bogged down so switching over for now.
🤣 great point
Revival of ytmnd.com
Nostr is Worse is Better.
inb4 infinitely nested self-referencing #zaptags
Would it also be possible to have #zap replies? So clients could sort replies to a note by the amount zapped?
Not sure if that's just zaps with text included, or still two events tied together.
Here's a good example implementation https://github.com/jigglycrumb/nostr-verify
You just need a nostr.json file in the /.well-known/ folder with the names and pub keys of users. https://blowater.deno.dev/.well-known/nostr.json
Here's mine https://nostr.haus/.well-known/nostr.json
I'm really impressed with the amount of #zaps on developer release notes... Excited to see if that continues or accelerates
The privacy benefits to miners seems really fascinating. From what I understand, the reward is pooled still and would be un-linkable to individual miners on withdrawal, even to the guardians?
