Having a key mgr app on my phone, and using itt seemlessly from nostr apps on the same device, as well from my laptop pretty much achieves the goal (Amber in my case). It's not a keyring, but a single private key, but for me that's a detail, it works.

It worked if Primal, for a 'landing' page would redirect to a handler like that, which would direct it back to Primal or to another nostr app.
If you want to share a nostr note so that even non-Nostr users can easily see it, app-specific http links are needed (e.g. a primal link). But then for Nostr ppl it's a hassle to transfer them to *their* preferred Nostr app.
At some point, on web, I often saw a dialog asking me which Nostr app to open, that's great (is that [nip89](https://nostr-nips.com/nip-89)?)
For that to work with regular app links, the only way I can imagine is that the Nostr app -- in this case Primal -- has to display a chooser to open in some other app. But apps don't really have an incentive to do that.
Sometimes I post both the `nostr:` note ID and the link, but that's a hassle too.

Accepting that there is a store-of-value-premium on real-estate, I'm wondering what about the cost side, the cost of building new houses, the cost of renovating, construction material and labor. Isn't that limiting the store-of-value premium? (if there is high demand for buying existing real estate as investment, and prices go up, but newly-builds prices are lower, it's more efficient to build).
Or, it's the other way around, and the store-of-value-premium also pulls up the construction prices, and inflates construction material and labor prices, infiltrating the whole supply chain? I think this is the case.

In case you want to set up your own BitcoinCore + Electrs stack for Signet:
it needs about 8GB ram & 30GB disk, and does the initial download and indexing in less than half an hour. After that it lives happily in 4GB RAM as well (possibly less).

Unfortunately in the last few days the Mempool Signet API worked unreliably (most requests just onnection reseted), but hey, it's a free service. I think it's just an intermittent issue.
For mainnet, there are many publicly available Electrum servers. Not so for Signet -- but fortunately our friends at Mempool.space make their Signet API available free-of-charge:
SIGNET is a great option for testing Bitcoin stuff.
Mempool.space supports it out of the box, so does Sparrow Wallet, and getting signet coins seems to be quite hassle-free.

Throughout 2024 Mutinynet seemed to be the most convenient lightning testing network. Mutiny wallet is discontinued, but AFAIK Mutinitynet still lives on. Good faucet, explorer, even LSP integration.
