It was probably a similar percentage (or higher) way back pre- Fed. Personally I'd love to see a world when people are spending a larger percentage of their income on food.

I used to make farfalle with ricotta and peas. Was a big hit with the family. The ricotta gathered nicely in the crannies of the pasta.

We're raising meat rabbits even though I'm not wild about rabbit meat (so lean!). Besides the manure and having a meat system that can be scaled up in a matter of months in a SHTF scenario, we're raising them to feed to our dogs.

I find Trump supporters as maddening as the TDS clowns.

The haters are hyperventilating as they believe nonsense about how Trump somehow single-handedly destroyed checks and balances, is the second coming of Hitler, with supporters who are basically the KKK without the robes - but fans seem to genuinely believe that Mr Warp Speed who didn’t lift a finger to help Assange or Snowden, who gave power to people like Bolton and Fauci, and who oversaw the biggest wealth transfer in US history is actually going to drain the swamp THIS time. 😖

I know nothing about video games, but it sounds like that's the free market showing that a company which gave so much freedom to third-party developers - in that market at that time - couldn't compete it against the companies that chose another approach. Unless the entire industry collapsed as a result? which I guess it didn't, since it sounds like Nintendo made different decisions and had better results -but even if the entire industry had collapsed, then it just meant that people were choosing other ways to use their time and money.
