Maybe because it openly says it believes in free speech and won’t censor anything unless it’s illegal. That’s leaps and bounds above pretty much every other legacy social media platform. It’s basically unheard of.

Pro-inflammatory foods do not CAUSE inflammation they SUPPORT inflammation. The exception is if you have inflammatory bowel disease and are sensitive to the particular food. If your body doesn't need inflammation right now, pro-inflammatory foods won't cause inflammation. If your body needs to be inflammed, those foods will support that process.

Pro-inflammatory foods are thus positively associated with inflammation, but that statement is too confusing for most people, so I said it differently in the prior paragraph.

Do not try to control your body's inflammation by avoiding pro-inflammatory foods. Because if you succeed in that endeavour it means your body wanted to use inflammation for something (probably a good thing unless you have an autoimmune condition) and you starved it of the ability to do so. This tactic may be useful in people with auto-immune conditions though.

I've been thinking about the bot issue. It only takes one follower in your WoT who follows a bot (and probably doesn’t realise it) to ruin it. Asking for proof of life when you follow someone is impractical to say the least.

I guess the main way to identify a bot is through their actions — spamming accounts or the same account (aka ReplyGuy). So what if there was an option for auto-unfollowing an npub if they sent the same message to more than [n] accounts or [n] times to the same account? Maybe an option to choose how much of the spam message needs to be identical to qualify.

I realise this doesn’t stop bots who generate random gibberish notes to each spamee (if that’s a word) but it could make a difference. It could also remove a bunch of follows if the tolerance is set too low so maybe a warning would be good if it went below a certain level.

I’m just spitballing. I also have no idea if it’s even possible. What do people think? Could this help?

I see. We don’t have that here in the USA and frankly if we did I wouldn’t be able to trust that I’d be able to get the food quality or quantity that my family deserves. My food is properly dried or freeze dried in Mylar and buckets. I’m hopeful that in 40-50 years there will be food waste. That means that my family didn’t need the survival food that I packaged. It’s kind of the food version of “don’t trust, verify”. If you trust your government to provide for you, that’s your choice. For me and mine, I can’t trust.

I agree with most but what do you mean by “vote for efficient community food reserves”?
