These days I subscribe to YouTube, a budgeting app to help me keep all my FIAT accounts in order, and I have a membership to my local theme park, but that's about it. Overall what I spend money on I own.
I caught the own-my-own-movie-library bug late last year, I now have nearly 1000 titles for less than $7 each on average.
I'm heavily considering starting a modern movie rentals club for people in my city to help people get off streaming services and inspire them to start building their own collections.

Personal use I now primarily use #Nostr / #Fountain #podcasts. I still lightly use #Lemmy, and a decent amount of time on #Reddit, never really used #Facebook or #Instagram all that much, never used #Twitter seriously. NEVER installed #TikTok.
I'm all for the Nostr future where we're the only ones in control of our accounts! No censorship! Power to the individual. Freedom tech is a beautiful thing to see develop at an ever faster pace thanks to being supported by #SoundMoney in #Bitcoin.
And FUCK centralized / controlled / censored information silos while we're at it. (Plus it's more relevant to Nostr lol)

The difficulty of raising children is more than fairly rewarded by having a strong family to help you in your elder years, and to have people you can pass your wisdom onto in return!
It's truly sad that the FIAT system isn't just stealing our savings and wages, it's actually stealing our families too. The family's that we would otherwise be able to afford to build if we were on a sound monetary system.
'DINK' being a movement is purely a consequence of constant FIAT debasement, they're enjoying life without kids when they're young, and they'll be extremely alone when they're in the final years of their lives.
Bitcoin truly fixes nearly everything that's wrong with the world today. It's beneficial effects fix every far reaching consequence of FIAT, and it cannot be stopped.

I love Nostr a LOT, but I must wholeheartedly disagree with you there. ₿ is a paradigm shift and frees humanity from itself. Nostr will help ₿ and ₿ will help Nostr, but let's not pretend that Nostr is somehow better than the mechanism to stop currency/savings/wage debasement globally.

When sending Zaps on Primal theirs no fee that I can see, only the exact zaps themselves leave my account.
But when I Zap on Amethyst it asks for an external wallet to send from and I choose Phoenix. Phoenix wallet charges fees, 2 sat fee to send 1 test sat, 4 sat fee to send 21 sats.
How can primal zap without fees?
Not quite that long but I'm approaching 6 months since my first Nostr activity! Though I've become really active only in the last month or so.

Our primary milk is Low-Vat pasteurized and available from local health food stores. Look for local producers who also grass feed they cows and don't charge an arm and a leg more over the conventional stuff.
I like to spend up to 16500 - 20,000 Sats (~$10 - $12.12) a gallon for the high quality/cost sweet spot.
I also like to use my Vitamix to blend my own home made nut milks with natural sweeteners mixed with erythritol and monk fruit. Delicious and creamy and no need to filter them. As far as I'm aware they're a healthier force of fat that's okay to eat. Let me know if I should think otherwise!
When it comes to land use efficiency, Palm oil is the highest producer of healthy fruit oils per acre of land used. There's nothing more efficient for the fats needed for processed foods. I imagine since it's fruit oil like avocado, it's probably one of the healthiest of the low cost options as well.

I just bought my first ever Washer and dryer set. $175 used on OfferUp. Dryer works great but I needed to spend $25 on a new cable to connect to my older outlet. Washer works... but bangs due to imbalance, turns out it needs new suspension rods which after shipping, and 2 other small items recommended at the same time, was about $75. All in all $275 plus some time to repair them is a pretty good deal for a washing machine and dryer set! Going used is always going to save you money if you can spend the time to get / keep them working. Also saves things from landfills which is a big plus in my book.
If money is no object though, and you don't want to get your hands dirty, Speed Queen is what I've read as being the best quality money can buy. That and Maytag Commercial. 🍻
