They have no power if they don't offer a meaningful benefit to people in exchange for their taxes. Bitcoin stops their primary source of hidden taxation and power: inflation. Bitcoin fixes this by starving them off unearned energy taken behind the scenes in ways people don't understand. The future is bright!
What comes to mind is a series of lectures given by Carrol Quigley (historian) called:
“Public Authority and the State in the Western Tradition: A Thousand Years of Growth, 976-1976”
If I recall correctly, it is in this series he discusses the impact of means of violence and warfare on the character and scale of states. I think the third and last part is most relevant. It should provide a starting off point of reference to ponder the topic.

The occasional bug is good things as it's a sign that the food is good and healthy for the tiny animals, and thus is good a healthy for us as well.

I HIGHLY recommend 2 different cooking methods for easy delicious steak.
1: Sous Vide at 135° for 2 hours in a vacuum sealed bag with steak seasoning (works fresh or frozen straight from the freezer maybe do it a little longer from the freezer if desired). Then after cooking the steaks in either ice water or running water in their bags, open the bag and dry and sear on a hot pan at 350° with some butter or lard for a few min on each side. (There is a concern of plastic with this method due to the bag, but the water bath temperature is fairly low at least.)
2: Get a Bluetooth thermometer, I use a "Chef's IQ" I got as a gift. Just bake the steak and the app will tell you when to flip and when to remove to reach the target temperature at the center.
Both methods product delicious steak and pork chops! I even used the bluetooth thermometer for fresh salmon which turned out great. 😁
But yes, we like the coin today too lol.

Love it! Completely agree. We are as much a part of the animal kingdom as we individuals are part of the human family. It's all connected. FIAT obscures the truth and we are finally breaking through that fog to discover that truth and reason were present but hidden all along.
The beauty of Bitcoin is, even if you can't think of a way to help it grow, you're helping grow it just by holding it. By removing liquidity you are helping grow the price for all holders including those who are actively building on it.
For myself, also in the US, I can't think of a way to build on it so as a 3 I'm just writing a book to help people see what I see. Good luck on your endeavors!

Sees Bitcoin as another investment, like a stock, hoping to sell one day in order to become FIAT rich. Doesn't concern themselves with whether Bitcoin will become the unit of account globally. Often storing their stack on exchanges or through an ETF.
The #Saver:
Sees Bitcoin as the "apex" asset, far superior to other assets and absolutely superior to FIAT. Saves excess funds in it, hoping to grow their stack, only selling just enough into fiat when necessary to pay bills absent other income sources. Often self custodies their stack with hardware wallets and passphrases, perhaps has a little stored in ETF or in exchanges.
The #VisionarySaver:
Goes a step further beyond standard savers, thinks about the long term macro effects of a globally recognized unified unchanging unit of account that is debasement proof. Not only the effects of the units themselves, but of the effects the mining incentive will have on improving global electric grids.
