Render Unto Caesar, But Who Are You? nostr:naddr1qqgrsdnpxumkgwfevscnyetxxccrgq3qklkk3vrzme455yh9rl2jshq7rc8dpegj3ndf82c3ks2sk40dxt7qxpqqqp65wx0zqej
Hi. I’m quite new as well to nostr and you’re right it is different from the Twitter explosion back in 2009. we’re almost two decades into social media of web2.0. People are comfortably trapped and don’t care much to try new - that’s not a bug but a great feature.
You, I and people playing with nostr are the explorers and early adopters. I’m paying attention to who’s who, who says what and when I notice value I follow and engage.
them and them.
Agree. Like in Orwell’s 1984, there will be the party people who can have their shiny apples but no privacy and no freedom and the plebs who will have their subculture and privacy and “freedom”.
Thanks. That works. Ran this through OpenAi, all checks out. Nothing definitive but I am usually cautious when FDA and WHO says “it’s okay, nothing to worry and we’ll need more research” . I guess moderation and trust that our bodies’ evolutionary design adapts to these new realities especially as we pass our mutated code to the next generations; strongest will survive.
Provide scientific proof please.
I think future people, some already existing today, will be as senseless and incomprehensible. Thanks be to God for traditional Catholic communities that will be able to study and record these future people for future generations.
What do you mean specifically?
This Is NEXT-LEVEL Breakdance https://video.nostr.build/a2b6750e350ff41e564372db0f7624e3b369c2a88825e2d97359cdce3ffab817.mp4
I’ve seen a lot of breakdancing since 1990 and this combo of moves and smoothness of transitions is next-level.
what’s crazy about this graph is that the biggest computer company on the planet is not on it. If Jobs was around I would know that there is „One more thing” from Apple coming up. But I doubt there is.
I’d like for someone to point me to a time in history that all would agree are „normal times and normal circumstances”; other than the time Adam and Eve walked alongside God in the Garden of Eden.
Sure is. But I think we can’t deny that it is a store of value.
Waiting for the connection on simplex
May I ask, why won’t you ever use it?
“Big drama today in the Tor community.
Conrad Rockenhaus, a Tor operator based out of Michigan, United States, was arrested in 2020 after refusing to cooperate with the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation
Rockenhaus, a disabled United States military veteran, ran the fastest Tor node in the United States. He was approached sometime in late 2019 when the FBI requested he allow them arbitrary access to his exit node and allow them to decrypt traffic. He denied their request.
Subsequently, in February, 2020 his home was raided. He was arrested for violating the CFAA (Computer Fraud and Abuse Act). It was alleged that he was a disgruntled ex-employee causing problems at his former place of employment.
Interestingly, to "help resolve the matter", law enforcement requested he decrypt his Tor exit node to prove his innocence (???). After he refused, he was held in a pre-trial detention cell for over 3 years. He was denied bail after law enforcement stated Mr. Rockenhaus used Linux to "access the dark web" and he was "not complying" and not allowing them access to this Tor exit node.
After Mr. Rockenhaus' wife filed an official complaint, and Mr. Rockenhaus was miraculously released, he was raided by the United States Marshal Fugitive Task Force TWO TIMES(???).
They took him out his home, threw him to the ground, beat him, smashed his windows, and threatened to murder his animals.
They are still requesting Mr. Rockenhaus allow them to access his Tor exit node. Mr. Rockenhaus still has not granted them that privilege.
All of this has been captured on home security camera footage. Additionally, his wife has released all court documents.
See subsequent post for more information.” -vxunderground, on X

Thanks for sharing. Never heard of this before. Why? Strange.
In an Uber craving silence yet the left brain wants to engage in small talk?
It’s a sign of immaturity.
For 30 years I engaged people in small talk because:
1) I felt awkward not to speak to the other person,
2) I felt the other person is feeling awkward
3) I felt it was impolite not to speak to the other person
4) I felt the need to be the person to make the other person feel comfortable
5) I subconsciously felt the need to be liked?
6) maybe there are more reasons maybe those are it
But when not too long ago I passed my mid 40s I had an “ahh” moment - I am a fully grown, mature adult male, an immigrant, a husband of 20years, a father of four, a business owner of 20 years from zero to a seven figure annual revenue, experienced more than the generations behind me and equal or more than the two still living generations in front of me - no more immature feelings nor feelings of immaturity.
This is like a really loooong bridge.
My Uber driver was like, "let me know if you want me to play some music for you. I don't want you to have a boring drive." I was like, "oh, I’m so deep in my thoughts I don’t think that’s possible. But please feel free to play some music if you’d like." He says, "oh no, I’m good" (I notice his AirPods). "I just want to make sure you won’t feel your drive is boring." I respond, "thank you, I’ll think about it and let you know. Right now, silence feels great."
Then I wonder, "am I a bad customer for not wanting to make small talk and engage with my driver? I just don’t feel like talking right now, and silence does feel good."
