That’s true, there are a lot of factors that generate very toxic behaviours, esp now that’s it’s not “line go up” so much anymore. Ironically enough, the behaviour is very off putting to normal ppl that aren’t susceptible to cultish mindsets.
Also no, there isn’t a way to censor things unless every relay admin agrees to delete it, and even then ppl can still have their copies.
I’m not against it, but I think ppl are very delusional about what it is and what it’s capable of being. It has this huge cult around it that aren’t willing to listen to reason, which I really dislike.
Ppl will report you for “illegal behaviour” and other dumb stuff if you criticise bitcoin.

Oh, I have another idea. One of the biggest complaints I see is that nostr is like 99% bitcoin stuff, and it is.
Adding the ability to follow hashtags on your feed seems like a good way to solve that.
It’s not that. I haven’t (re)tried any clients recently, but last time I used Iris for example, it almost set my phone on fire.
Damus seems to have gotten better about that, but I also removed some relays like some ppl suggested.
They need to work well and look nice, most of the ones I’ve tried don’t. The biggest complaint I’ve had in general is battery usage.
I wonder what sort of ppl do content moderation for social platforms. I remember reading an article about how they get traumatised from all of the stuff they see.
Does anyone have that site that lists all of the different nostr projects?
I’ve blocked a couple but I just generally don’t see them.
Most of the lewd posts I’ve seen on nostr came through the fedi bridge.
