I just read someone say the list won't include any more names than we already know. Nobody will be held accountable for anything.
I've been around a lot of Swedes recently and they confirmed the government did not need to force lockdown as the people are extremely compliant and just stayed in without the orders.
The country is also almost cashless now, homeschooling is extremely illegal with very hefty consequences (they will remove your kids and you may never get then back!). Not a very free country, sadly.
Happy new year. What beautiful goals for the year ahead. I am looking into providing products and/or services for btc this year as well. I wish you the best. Post a note once you are set up so people can support fellow Nostriches and bitcoiners.
P.S. I will follow you on substack, once I get an account set up, which is one of my 2024 goals.
Thank you! Blender has been a HUGE part of our homeschooling / unschooling life. My son started learning 3D modelling at age 9 (almost 9 years ago) and created his first short animation at 10, winning a national schools animation competition. He favours coding a lot more now but Blender has helped him learn that too. Thanks to all involved for all your hard work and dedication!!! 🌟🤩

Just as we need people building Nostr, at the same time, we need people building the community, to go with it.

I was going to say peanut butter. Could try lard? I remember using that when I was a kid.
Hello, I have 2 grown up home educated kids. We developed our own way of unschooling.
You don't need to worry or feel overwhelmed, especially at 3 years of age, you just need to relax and let your child play. Play with your child and do lots of different activities (cooking, baking, playdough, building blocks, woodwork, art, making things, music, making musical instruments, doing things with you around the home, go to museums..... the list is endless........ Most importantly, GET OUT IN NATURE. Find what they're interested in (and that will change CONSTANTLY by the way, as they find out more and more about life and the world!!).
Don't worry about "teaching" your 3 yr old anything. They will just learn thru life and what you do. That's the best advice I can give. They will learn when they're are enjoying life, having fun and are relaxed in that process. They won't learn while under stress, being tested and being around people who are worried about what and whether they are learning.
Trust me I've been there. JUST RELAX AND HAVE FUN WITH IT 💙💚💛

The next few weeks will endeavor to ZAP any content I love that is not about bitcoin or Nostr development. Not that those things are not awesome but we need more balance here and more diverse content if Nostr is to become a real and viable alternative to the big tech social media platforms. Comment below if you post awesome content so I can follow you.
PLEASE REPOST AND LIKE THIS POST THANK YOU

These visuals always trigger me haha, those and the "let's fix the broken education system" posts. The state school system is designed specifically to NOT teach us the most important skills & knowledge we need in life. It's not broken, it's operationing exactly as it's designed and meant to be.
Get your kids out of government schools. Home education FTW

Sounds cool. How does it work?
My podcast gripes:
#1 top gripe - music playing over speaking!!! Not just annoying but often winds me up and is very distracting, especially when it's usually on a repetitive loop, but also bad for hearing impaired people. It bad enough without the music. The music renders it completely inaccessible. Some podcasters play very loud music over the speaking, making it difficult to hear, so I just switch off.
#2 Too long - cut out the meandering. I know people want theirs to be chatty and friendly but don't have time for 1 to 2 hour long podcasts with lots of pointless chitchat.
#3 Guest interviews - let them talk (unless it's a mutual conversation style).
#4 Bad quality audio
Who is into making homemade herbal tea blends?
nostr:npub1lzzfwmk84gq78m3hjsmarxr583nt9nc6tdl35jq6ucd0v76fxjssxg888x Santa Mouse got me a whole set up to make my own herbal blends! I have a rough idea of what ingredients do what (ie, chamomile for sleep), but I'm not sure about ratios on the blend.

Oh that is a beautiful sight! Well done to Santa Mouse. I am very much into making herbal tea blends. My stash isn't as organised as yours, as we're nomadic. I will try to remember to come back later to this post with some of my faves.

Just zapped you but had to do it manually thru WOS as Amethyst brought up an error telling me I couldn't do it.
Awesome! Fantastic decision. How old?
We quickly morphed into our own unique brand of unschooling. I don't think we've ever spent 4 hours a day on formal learning. The kids were learning constantly. They would often be working on their own projects at any time of the day - sometimes right up to bedtime, if it was something they were really into.
The absolute best is if they F off and leave us alone
