Being able to use with Tailscale (or FOSS Headscale) seems like it could be another huge win, too. Would love to see some analysis of this!
Yes! Its crazy how you forget things and a silly tiktok brings it all back. The damn metal nesquik can..
### #Amethyst v0.77.0-alpha: Amber 🚀
Today marks the beginning of a new era for Nostr Android. A native signing app (Amber) can now store the keys while every other Nostr app focuses on their own use cases. The time of inserting your private key in every native app is over.
Well, at least technically over. Consider this a test release. Bugs are expected.
We hope other Nostr apps for Android follow the same path and stop storing a private key with their own databases. And, hopefully, iOS apps will follow soon.
This version wasade by nostr:npub1w4uswmv6lu9yel005l3qgheysmr7tk9uvwluddznju3nuxalevvs2d0jr5 and all zaps to go him.

- [F-Droid Edition](https://github.com/vitorpamplona/amethyst/releases/download/v0.77.0/amethyst-fdroid-universal-v0.77.0.apk)
I logged out of Amethyst (removed my nsec) and then tried to login via Amber and Amethyst instantly crashes when I click 'Login with Amber'.
GrapheneOS on a Pixel 6.
Also, what's the difference between F-Droid and Play edition? I've been using F-Droid. Are notifications available on GrapheneOS with either edition?
Thank you!
#Bitcoin is a grass-fed beef steak.
Everything else is a chicken nugget in various shapes and flavors. https://video.nostr.build/459f42fd7f40705ba280aa7fffc9b2d592e1eab6644325b68e20f3b2cea1bed4.mov
Fowl.
Regarding nostr keys:
It's likely they're going to become increasingly valuable and important. It may be your digital identity, tied to wallets and used for logins, etc.
What are we going to be doing to secure these keys? Biometric? A signing device similar to bitcoin? Perhaps the community is already anticipating this and working towards solutions, but obviously cut and paste isn't going to cut it!
GrapheneOS FTW
Unsalted is better as lube... Or so I hear.
F2Pool to Return 20 BTC Tx Fee to Owner if It's Claimed Within 3 Days
An unknown Bitcoin network entity paid 19.82 BTC (~$500k) transaction fee to send 0.074 BTC (~$200) - one of the highest fees to date when measured in fiat.

Gotta love the bitcoin ethos. I'd this were that other chain, they'd centrally reverse the Tx from their Foundation.
Yes, and ebay. There's a marketplace out there to sell your stuff for sats, but the network effect is very low - we need the userbase to grow! Remove the centralization and misincentives and we could have a truly open marketplace for so many things both for local and remote shopping.
It's amazing to me how quickly Nostr is evolving and changing. The clients are rapidly iterating and competing and the other use cases are just beginning to emerge. If you squint just right you can imagine where things are headed combining with financial apps such as the integration into nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg and Phoenix. Bullish and exciting.
Unfortunately, I've found it to be a lot of trial and error. Make mistakes, figure out what works. And pick up tips and tricks where you can find them in posts, blogs and podcasts.
Unplug. Leave it unplugged.
I needs to be made illegal to make an emoji interface without a search function. 🤬
#beerstr #Colorado
I'm loving the hazy IPAs recently. Low bitterness and high, fruity hop flavors!
