My user experience with unmodifiable and undeletable notes makes nostr close to unusable. When I post a note with mistakes that make it illegible, i'm faced with either replying to my own note with corrections, or posting a new note. This makes the recipient's experience degraded, and forces both parties into an idealology they have no connection to. The object to nostr isnt to make it some kind of pure programer's panacea, but to enable uncensorable communication while balancing ease of implementation to encourage adoption with enabling expansion of scope within the new communication protocol's M:N paradigm.
Regarding lack of consistency of relays and potential forking of versions, this is something that exisis already with any replaceable events such as the profile information, but for notes it can easily be resolved on the client side by comparing revision data.
I never heard an actual argument about why editing notes is contrary to any ideal. It sounds like an opinion without a reason.

A big reason voters claim to be unaware of Trump's promise to begin functioning as a dictator on day 1 of his presidency is that the corporate media have normalized Trump. While focusing laser intensity on the made-up "problem" of Biden's age, they let Trump say one dangerous thing after another and give him a pass. They have allowed him and the Republicans to whitewash his previous time in the White House. New York Times leads the way.

If there's anything we saw about Trump in his first term, its that he's a whole lot of bark and no bite.
"What Christian Nationalism means by the phrase 'Christian nation,' is a nation dictated by neo-evangelical Christianity, tied to a fundamentalist interpretation of the Bible, which should drive the formation of laws, is deeply entrenched in patriarchy, and is largely white. This vision of a 'Christian Nation' not only excludes other religions and nonreligious people from having an equal voice in our country, but many other Christians as well."

They aren't wrong. A predictible realization of christian nationalism is a throwback to a pre-christian pharacitical theacracy. This is what Christ called the synogogue of Satan. This is how most churches are organized, with anti-christian authoritarianiam. The new testament epistles demonstrate this eventual departure from the gospel. Christ came to free us from the law, not redeem us unto sonship by forcing us to follow any of God's two commandments.
There is only one true christan nation, one lead by Christ himself when he returns. Any govenance short of that will be a satanic beast built on bondage, theft, lies and murder. One can only improve our condition when this is taken to heart.

After a full day, I finally have my wife's new computer all set back up. There has to be an easier way...
#Bitcoin is the only escape from the global inflation tax.
If you wouldn't lend money to your uncle, or give money to your sister, and your church rightly witholds parishoner's proceeds from the bum curled up on its steps why would you think the government knows how to manage universal welfare programs to anyone's benefit?
#bitcoin fixes socialism
Go to a republican strawpoll some year and get elected to be a delegate. Go to your local monthly meetings and watch how the party is run from the state HQ. Make friends with your district party chairmembers, learn how it really works.
I haven't found words for it, but i walked away with no faith in the system. Anyone that climbs this particular ladder has only one skill and only one goal: manipulation and theft. All political parties end up this way, its by design.
When I comment on my diet I am just sharing. I am not asking for advice.

I don't take medical advice from strangers. If I asked 3 people for advice I'd get 5 opinions. Opinions are everywhere, and hearing another opinion does nothing to indicate to me whether or not it was a sound one. I would still have to do my own research.
I understand that people want to help, and they want to be respected, and they want me to be grateful to them. But it is a social behavior that just doesn't work.
I dont take advice from anyone, I accumulate data.

There are still many americhumps that believe Assange is only in trouble because he 'must' have done something on behalf of a foreign power against the interests of most Americans
