i see your point and you are of course free to participate in any filtration you deem favorable.

however in the case of bitcoin blockchain it would be like with internet packets and you being some kind of router and cdn (with your node).

where packets of different content would pass through you and you could decide which you want to relay out.

because fundamentally almost none transactions are directed to you that are broadcaster and/or mined.

"we are the smartest and know everything and we should decide what is appropriate use of decentralised open timechain network!"

by this logic if i sent tokenized stablecoin using bitcoin blockchain, it wouldnt be considered "transfer of money"

its funny because markets see value there, but maxi central planners dont

if i buy png worth 0.001btc and then later sell it to someone for 0.002btc

was there really no monetary value transferred?

lol you could say this about nostr in sense.

lightning, zaps, wallets, paying with in stores ... :D

i wonder if mobile nostr clients should instead of calling lots of relays, rather call just one app api that does the heavy work and provides the results for the mobile client.

this slightly deminishes client autonomy, but provides better performance and also battery savings for mobile devices.

#asknostr #buildstr

sir, you seem to have done the very thing i was criticising -> being dogmatic and not providing any argument, just merely being vulgar.

do you have ANY ACTUAL ARGUMENT or are you just an NPC repeating stuff you have no factual conviction of?

just to be completely honest. it isn't clear why such statement makes him a "scammer".

he made a statement where gold could be tokenized onto a blockchain, which could be done. tether already does it ( XAUT ).

and if you were to put it on some fast blockchain, like L2s on ethereum or in the cosmos ecosystem like on osmosis, it would of course be better in sense that it'd be faster and cheaper than currently transacting on bitcoin base-layer.

sure it wouldn't be as secure and decentralised as bitcoin is now on basechain, but that's not the topic of an argument.

please don't fall down to being dogmatic and taking everything from someone you don't like and labeling it as scam and waiting for others from your 'tribe' to clap you.

its not productive. explain why he's wrong. not just purely say he's idiot.

A daemon that monitors the blockchain for transactions involving your wallets and sends you notifications on many different channels.

Hope you find it useful! More details later.

this but for also other open blockchains would be very helpful. might do it myself

you see thats where am not really sure how to approach this.

because on one hand you dont wanna be dictator who says what people can and cannot do on the protocol.

but on the other hand, you have to have some direction and people who fight for that in your protocol, so it doesnt fall into the wrong hands.

therefore i understand why putting data instead of purely monetary transactions into bitcoin can be bad for money sovereinghty, but also dont like the idea of someone deciding whats good and what isnt in this supposedly free money network.

ordinals, runes nor any uses of bitcoin are "shitting in the bed" imho.

its taking a tech and trying something out and then finding out users like it.

im not communist central planner nor god, to tell people what is and what isnt legitimate use of any neutral technology.

are freedom cozy tools something we want to go mainstream?

you gotta spend money to make money haha

someone said "when you tell the truth, what happens next is the least bad reaction that would eventually happen"

and i try to live by that since

i was today years old when i found out that you guys have integrated fedimint so seamlessly into the app
