You can def do Place scores and things like that. I don't know what other assertions it would need to be signalled, but it could be added.

Thanks! Habla looks very good for reading but I struggled with the editor a bit. I found it not intuitive to write in syntax mode and then have to toggle to preview to see the effects. Maybe user error?

Highlighter seemed better in that you can edit in preview mode but has a few other bugs in the editor when you try to include web or Nostr links.

Today I stumbled upon using Obsidian with a Nostr plugin. Looks promising. I plan to try that next.

No, but some of the long-form clients will implement 30040/30041. Then you can choose Markdown or Asciidoc, by selecting which type of event to publish.

Expect everyone to eventually move to Asciidoc, though, since it covers the simpler Markdown and anything more complex is difficult in Markdown. As you know, can't even resize images or make a decent table or ordered list.

We're going to be publishing eBooks, eMagazines, and academic journals, so we couldn't stick to Markdown. And Asciidoc has the plugins for ePUB, Asciimath, PlantUML, and LaTeX generation, and etc. Very smooth from one format to another, and you can use style sheets, so that you have a universal branding of the documents.

We're working on the #Alexandria client parser, at the moment, which is a Nostr-focused extension of the Asciidoc parser.

We plan to support three types of encrypted group chats: small group, medium group, and large group.

When a member sends a message in a small group, they are essentially sending a one-on-one message to every other group member.

This group chat mode offers the best security, but it supports fewer group members.

This was the approach used by Signal for group chats a few years ago, and we regret that Signal has abandoned this model to accommodate more members. Signal should have retained this model and added the current sender key group mode as well.

Next week, we may release a Keychat version that supports medium groups. Compared to small groups, it will lose some backward secrecy capabilities, but it can support more group members.

Later, we will consider using the message layer security protocol to build large groups.
