I’m all seriousness how will nostr handle hate speech? Personal AI moderators? Relay filters? Global feed is still unusable for me.
Are there any nostr PWA clients that have zaps enabled?
Bitcoin is like a virtual Swiss watch, with the base layer being the center wheel and PoW mining being the mainspring. The third wheel is the BIP300 protocol and the fourth wheel is LN and other L2s. The nodes are the balance wheels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_QsCLYs2mY
How can you properly sandbox the js without same origin policy and CSP?
Keep it as simple as possible for first release
It was a mistake to launch the DM feature half-baked. Very dangerous.
I’ve been thinking about this for years. The browser got it right, we should learn from W3C.
The point of APIs is to allow for innovation. What we need is caniuse.com for nostr clients
No trust?
They put the white paper on every Mac
The original zap feature doesn’t fit that description as the content was not purchased. It was public, zaps were like micro donations. Apple is likely afraid of BTC circumventing their ability to charge fees entirely. An interesting test is to submit a new app, with the old feature enabled but that gives 30% of the BTC to Apple.
But the emoji is posted inside the app. It’s a gray area.
It could but I doubt Apple will comply. They are one of, if not the most powerful tech giant.
Assuming they allow it, are you willing to give 30% of all zaps to Apple to enable the previous feature? It’s risky to build any app on a tech monopoly platform.
Perhaps integrate with wire.com ?
If Spotify had a secret way to sign users up from the app I’m sure apple would either take their 30% or ban them.
This is still against their app policy, the fact that its emojis vs proper UI is irrelevant. They are not disallowing zaps by mistake, I’m sure Cook is aware of the threat BTC poses to their monopoly tax. iOS is an antithetical platform to nostr, we must embrace open W3C standards.
