Another spin of the rock #Nostr

After dealing with the invasion of raspberry plants in the greenhouse yesterday morning I spent some time at my #bouldering area cleaning more rocks of grime. I got some nice #climbs in at the end and am slowly but surely getting the area whipped back into shape.

It warmed up enough that the dew all dried and I was able to get the grass cut around the farm. There is still a good bit more that I need to cut today but I will use the weedeater for that as it is better at the misc areas. I had to leave a few areas uncut too as they are filled with various flowers that I want to seed out.

It's time to focus on the stability of social communication. Profile pictures or names not fully loading, threads not displaying properly, notes being missed, and users unable to tag profiles that they follow are the worst bugs that we have from a user experience standpoint. These are all basic functions of being social on the Internet. If the core function of being social doesn't work well, users aren't going to stick around.

Being tenacious, when Damus didn’t work right for me, I just turned to Primal when I saw Jack’s recommendation that it was easiest way to get started. My Damus account still doesn’t work right unfortunately. I was told there was a glitch and I might need to delete it and start it fresh. And, agree with you that it is frustrating.

Those are lovely ! Couple of years ago, had one string eggplant that did well. Last year, I seeded 12, and none came up. This year, I am attempting to start a few in the hydroponic system in greenhouse. We’ll see. 💯

many people get mad about "you will own nothing, and be happy" without realizing they are 90% there already.

we should know how our technology works, and how to repair it.

we should know how our food is grown, and how to grow at least some of it.

we should know how to make at least some of the things we use every day.

we should not let distant politicians choose for us.

Are you talking about Primal web or Primal for iOS?

For Mutiny, I personally wouldn't open a channel that was smaller than 1M sats, but that's just me.

Primal iOS is what I’ve been using

Why?

Oh man. This all sounds really complicated but it's not. You can sign into Damus and Primal with the same NSEC. You just need to copy and paste the NSEC (Nostr private key) into both apps or import it into Alby to use on Primal web. Mutiny is a bit more complicated but it too bad. You'll just need to send funds to it and a portion of those funds will be used to open a Lightning channel. Make sure you're sending a large payment as your very first payment to Mutiny. The larger the better.

I have signed in both on Damus and Primal with the other acct nsec though the information doesn’t share; eg unable to use Primal wallet sats on Primal, when I am signed in with the Damus or Alby. Is there a way to connect? I can switch between, though they are islands. And for Mutiny, what constitutes large? Thank you for taking the time to explain. 🙏🏻☕️
