How is this supposed to work? I’ve got some time today and am glad to test it out. I just need to be logged into iCloud?
It would be a decision made by the relay operator. Nothing about IP addresses are in the nostr spec - all connections are made over plain old web sockets so if you aren’t running over tor or a VPN your IP is available to the relay operator.
Just wait until we get clients where you can be free of the algo or customize the algo!
Relay health*
My general strategy is to keep my paid relays and 4-5 public relays that I know are running performant software (strfry) or have dedicated devs that I trust. This of course requires more research
I am pretty confident we still need better tools for this. Should be pretty simple to make an app that can check relay Healy like nostr.watch but also recommend relays based on your npub. I don’t know if it exists though

Night mode is great too. The gray scale thing is from a viral thread I saw on twitter… it really seems to make the phone less addictive and at the very least makes you think harder about what apps you are opening sense you don’t have the color aid to find them.
