When I went to Afghanistan in 2009 as a military contractor, I was questioning why we were over there messing with those people. It’s not entirely because they’re the bad guys. It’s not at all black and white like that. Of course, the military industrial complex needed a boost and it was a dream contract to provide a decade’s worth of stuff supporting “the mission.” I don’t know if the opium had anything to do with it. I don’t know if natural resources had anything to do with it. A person can go far down the rabbit hole with that one.
I don’t do that kind of work anymore. It was an experience.
It’s one of those kind of days where I just feel like a cranky old man. Nothing seems to work right today, except #nostr of course.
At least I got my #coffee this morning.

He’s following in the footsteps of other large sales recently which seems to imply that they believe a large stock market correction is coming fairly soon. Perhaps this October surprise that Hilary Clinton talked about is going to cause a large drop in the markets in general.
Or maybe I’m just paranoid. I mean, yes, I’m paranoid, but I can also turn that off when I need to. I guess just be on the lookout and have funds lined up to take advantage of the crash.

It’s bullshit what our congress and biden administration has been doing to undermine and destroy our country.
I had a neighbor who tattooed sandals on his feet. He said it was so he could go into a bar without shoes on. Was he serious? I don’t know. He was a guy who was basically fed up with the way life runs so I could see him pushing this angle.
She left him for a reason. If she liked the direction things were going, she would have stayed. She knew how he is but looked the other way. She hoped he wouldn’t get worse. He couldn’t help himself. She couldn’t in good faith stand by his side any longer. Not saying she’s perfect.
No offense to those of you selling cell phones in mall kiosks these days. :-) Everybody’s got to do something.
Or ending point. Mentioning #Bitcoin turns some people off because they think you’re a loon. Ha! The joke’s on them. Kind of like the girls who wanted nothing to do with the nerdy kids in school and wanted to be with the popular kids instead. Half the popular kids had their peak life in high-school and are selling cell phones in mall kiosks these days.
