I mentioned this to my wife and her response was, “and you don’t think they’re manipulating bitcoin?” Got me there. I was, perhaps stupidly, trying to buy through Coinbase, but I ended up buying through River instead. The fee is slightly higher, but it didn’t give me any of this crap about not enough money in my bank account, and I could buy when I wanted to… So.. is Coinbase manipulating #Bitcoin and crypto? Seems like it.

Coming at this from another angle, I had been trying to use the time blocking method of scheduling my days, which was mildly successful for me, and I figured out how little time I actually have in a day so maybe I don’t waste as much time as I think I do. What happens are constant interruptions which really eat into my time and my focus. Context switches are expensive.

Around my house, that’s every night. What’s really infuriating is when the kids decide to be proactive and they take the wet clothes out of the washer and drop them on the floor instead of drying them. Sometimes I wonder what goes through their minds.

I have plenty of head butt desire in me, too, but then somehow I manage to calm myself and rise above the situation as if I’m leaving behind those deserving souls in the shit they created.

I was just sitting on my Mac 10 minutes ago thinking I should move to Linux for desktop. I use it daily in a server capacity, and have for years, but maybe I should just full-time it with some desktop variant. I don’t know that I will, but it was a thought. What triggered the thought for me was the news app which I rarely use, but I was realizing that it’s just full of crap and Apple is complicit in this. I guess I’m feeling discouraged at the direction that these large companies are going. I’m getting cranky, I guess. :-)

It’s funny how loopholes exist for those with outsized amounts of wealth but not so much for those of us just trying to make a better life for ourselves.

This is a concern of mine that Uncle Sam will want more of my money if I go Bitcoin internally. Was hoping someone would say there was some loophole to allow me to do it without paying taxes on that which I’ve already paid taxes.
