--> Can't edit or delete notes on nostr <--
Hear me out.
What if instead of writing a note that you either want to edit later or delete you instead write a note in "publishing client" that then generates a nostr client renderable URL and it's that URL that gets sent as a note.
You don't know it's a URL because you just see the rendered note in the nostr client.
If I go back and edit the note in my publishing client the URL remains unaffected but the next time someone looks at my note what renders is the edited content of that very same URL? Think of it like the URLs from nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqgdwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkcqpqhee433872q2gen90cqh2ypwcq9z7y5ugn23etrd2l2rrwpruss8qxc5787 's GifBuddy: You don't see the URL you just see the rendered gif naively as a note like this

This would probably necessitate that you have to keep your own dedicated hard drive space for the notes or may leverage something like blossom.
nostr:nprofile1qyghwumn8ghj7vf5xqhxvdm69e5k7tcpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezumt0d5hsqgpm7rrrljungc6q0tuh5hj7ue863q73qlheu4vywtzwhx42a7j9n5gapjsj , nostr:nprofile1qy28wue69uhkcmmrv9kxsmmnwsargwpk8yhsz8rhwden5te0dphkgmrzdajzucm0wfskxmr99e6x7mmvwvhsqgyhcu9ygdn2v56uz3dnx0uh865xmlwz675emfsccsxxguz6mx8ryg3eee77 , nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq3zamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0qqszv6q4uryjzr06xfxxew34wwc5hmjfmfpqn229d72gfegsdn2q3fgfjtyk0 , please tell me how I have either not made myself clear or how I have fundamentally missed a basic tenet of the protocol.

JOB ALERT:
I am looking for a new freedom tech lover to join the team at Plebeian.
Some of you may think of Plebeian as a marketplace but thats simply the first app of an infinitely extendable content management system and a circular economic community builder. An anything app if you will.
I am looking for a developer with a demonstrable portfolio of bitcoin/nostr projects, work, commits etc somebody who is known and active in the community. You will have bags of initiative and be willing to take the lead when necessary.
It's just 20 hours a week because I want you to have other projects and time with your family... however, the pay is pretty decent and 100% in bitcoin... speak to the other members of the team.
Please check out the project on Github, it is of course FOSS... https://github.com/PlebeianApp/plebeian.market
If you're up for a video chat please get in touch.
I'd be up for it but just arrived here. So, let me know if you don't find your fit. If you need a small something in the meantime for a nostr project I'm sure I can find a small one to do.
Look at 0xChat. Pretty much what they did. They even defaulted the mint. Which isn't a bad idea. Follow that.
I just ignored 'vim' and kept using it like it was vi. Not much of an issue. Until the distro configures it funky.
0xChat or simpleX is available I'm sure if needed could just pop one of those up and make a room.
Also, UniSats but the transactions seems a little more expensive. Zeus kind of in the same boat. Alby seems to be the least painful of all of them.
GM ☕
Most of the account is set and out of the way.. Too many things pulling all at once.
Agree that it's overhyped. Esp if you know about the domain in which it's working. Ask it to generate code and you most likely will have to fix it and stay heavy on the guidance. For those who don't know how to do the work or anything about the subject matter, they see it as amazing. Those that know see it and go , wtf is this mess.
we should get to a chatroom with this one but yes, it has potential. Also, for abuse. It has to be done well enough to balance but gamers are also known for being pissy when they can't just auction something starting at a ridiculous price they set.
Quite honestly I would start with a minecraft kind of thing and expand from there. Shouldn't be that hard to do.
Should've done it up front, would've saved some time. working now.
