I used 3.5” floppies back in the 90s a lot!

I remember that once I was copying NHL’97 from a friend on 100 FD only to realize it won’t work on my 486 machine (it required Pentium instructions to run).

In the early 90s I used 5.25” but it was not on my computer, it was friend’s.

End of 90s my dad brought me a couple of 8” FD, so I held them in my hands, but never used them with a computer, because there was none to use these around me at that time.

Today I'm celebrating 11 years with my wife! Being married to a freedom loving bitcoiner is the best.

We worked together at Blockchain(dot)info as the first two employees for 5 years. Anyone who has ever worked for a startup knows how crazy it can be, especially the early days. It's not a 9-5, it's a 24/7.

We've watched Bitcoin go from < $10 ancap money to what it is today. We couldn't have made it through all those ups and downs without being aligned philosophically.

It's not all about Bitcoin, of course, but the freedom movement is how we met. It started with that foundation and grew into a deep bond.

Nearly 3 years on Umbrel. I had zero issues on Umbrel. I wanted something more robust and not a Raspberry Pi. I also like the fact that StartOS uses an SSL cert for local traffic.

The issue here is the person making the claim has built quite a lot on lightning ⚡ so there is some merits to his position.

Lightning kinda works but the tradeoffs it makes are worrying. It is becoming centralized . The op is sounding the alarm.
